Yet more impressive glovework from Foakes, who takes one down the leg side off Leach. Leach goes up for an appeal, thinking there was some glove on it but captain Stokes is not convinced.

    As ever, Stokes is right.

Rehan Ahmed has settled into a nice rhythm. To be bowling wrist-spin in a Test match at 18 years old is remarkable.

  3. Pak 221-6published at 61 overs

As he has been from the start, Rehan Ahmed is still chewing on his gum. He is bowling much better than his first spell now. He tosses it up to left-hander Faheem, finding a nice area.

We were talking off air about how England would get Babar out because he looked like he could get a century.

It's those little moments in Test match that change the game.

It's wonderful to see England doing so well and it has made my day with the reference to my idol Buddy Holly.

That's another really poor wicket given up by Pakistan. The crowd has fallen completely silent with Babar out.

England have been gifted six wickets on a road!

Faheem Ashraf can bat. He's the new man.

Pakistan have lost another reckless wicket here.

It was always going to be tight. Brook did well and Foakes did even better. The real problem for England has gone. Agha Salman will be feeling dreadful.

    The pressure is on Pakistan.

It's given! You don't see many wickets like this. Ben Foakes has been both brilliant with a tumbling one-handed flick to remove the bails but fortunate too.

This is out because although he has knocked off one bail with his 'other' glove, one bail remains in the groove when he clatters the stumps with the other hand - the one with the ball in.

Foakes might've been brilliant here. I think he has been.

Now this is interesting. Ben Foakes has brilliantly taken broken the stumps with the ball in one hand but has he broken the stumps with his other glove?

    It's Babar too. Big decision.

    Surely Pakistan haven't handed England a run-out?!

I'm relying on Aggers who says Ahmed's song is a take on one by Buddy Holly. I wonder if, given Busted were number one the day the teenager was born, Ahmed has ever heard of it.

Wood slumps off at the end of the over. That'll be his spell done.

It's got to be Wood's last over unless he gets a wicket.

Rehan Ahmed finds the inside edge of Agha's bat but for once Ben Stokes doesn't have a short leg in. It sounds like the Barmy Army have already made Ahmed's song.

I'll have to get back to you on the lyrics.

Lots of field changes and adjustments for Babar. There are no close catches at all. Looking to induce a mistake from Babar.

Ben Stokes starts to limber up at the end of an unsuccessful Wood over. Where's that klaxon?

  19. Pak 214-5published at 56 overs

In another show of faith, Ben Stokes hands Rehan Ahmed the second over of the session. He was in a really good groove before tea.

The speed of his overs are giving me no time to squeeze in some much-needed online Christmas shopping.

Those in the crowd are growing louder and louder with their man Babar Azam on strike. Pakistan's captain is almost egging himself and his batting partner on after crunching away a pull shot.

Wood is banging it in but there's no life in this pitch.
