England have certainly had the better of the day. Pakistan would've wanted more than that. We'll see how that progresses now.

The immediate problem for England is how to get rid of Babar.

    A lovely story.

The players are back out in the middle for this final session with Mark Wood ready to bowl.

Naeem Ahmed - Rehan's dad - says being in the England huddle for his son's cap presentation this morning was the best moment of his life.

He described on TMS how his knees were shaking beforehand.

Ahmed's first wicket came when Saud Shakeel inside edged onto pad, the ball looping up for a catch to Ollie Pope at short leg.

The ball before that he beat Shakeel with a perfect googly which must have put some dout in the left-hander's mind.

In that session we saw 18-year-old Rehan Ahmed take his first wicket for England.

Now his dad is on TMS!

On this pitch, which has given the bowlers absolutely nothing, Pakistan would have wanted 400.

England have burgled their way to 196-5.

    I wouldn't bet against it.

It may not be the flashiest scorecard but England should be really pleased to have taken five wickets on such a flat pitch.

Now, over to Matthew Henry to take you through the rest.

What are your predictions? I reckon there'll be another wicket not long after tea.

It has been a very good session for Rehan Ahmed who looked a little nervous before lunch. That last over was an excellent over. He got the ball to grip and go past the outside edge.

You have to say England will look back on that session with satisfaction. On that pitch it is not easy to take wickets.

Ahmed to bowl the last over of this session before tea

Agha is on strike and it beats the outside edge. There's no turn and he looks a little confused about what is happening.

Stokes brings a leg slip in and there's three dot balls. Ahmed finishes the over with a googly. He'll be pleased with that.

He walks off with a smile on his face. Time for tea.

  13. Pak 203-5published at 51 overs

Wood is into the attack bowling a length ball outside off. Babar gets a single, bringing Agha on strike.

He bowls a yorker on the base of the stumps but it's blocked by Agha.

Pakistan need a lot more runs if they want a chance of winning this Test. We've seen how England play.

England's day so far. They will be pretty happy with this situation.

  15. Pak 202-5published at 50 overs

Ahmed replaces Root and Salman is on strike for his first ball. He doesn't want to take any risks playing defensively for singles.

  16. Pak 200-5published at 49.5 overs

Agha is the new man at the crease.

Stokes turns to Wood. Can he work his magic and get another wicket? A leg slip is in place.

He comes over the wicket and the ball is pitched up around off stump but Babar plays defensively and blocks.

Five dot balls until Babar has had enough and hits the ball through backward square for four. That brings up the total to 200 for Pakistan.

Rizwan has given it away! Stokes is thrilled because he brought the man in. He is high-fiving everything that moves.

The only thing that wasn't planned is the low full toss. Stokes brought mid-wicket into the ring to invite Rizwan to play that shot. Stokes punched the air after the catch, not because he had taken it but because the ploy has worked.

    Yes he can!

A low full toss from Root is smacked through the leg side but it's straight into the hands of the England skipper!

Stokes is very happy with that. He brought Root on and he's done the job. High-fives all round.

Root back into the attack. Can he break this partnership?
