That's the danger that Stokes is trying to swing too hard.
Ben Stokes needs one more six to nudge ahead of his coach Brendon McCullum and break the record for most sixes in Test cricket. He is clearly keen to do so tonight.
It is all a bit chaotic though as Stokes sets off for a single but Ben Duckett wisely sends him back.
The last scheduled over of the day is coming up as we see the sun starting to dip beyond the horizon.

Everything is happening!
This is complete comedy cricket.
Ben Stokes goes for a huge heave so hard that the bat flies out of his hand and in the direction of Ahsan Raza at square leg.

If Stokes is out there he clearly wants to finish this tonight.

Ben Stokes gets off the mark after a misfield at mid-wicket allows England to run two.
Stokes then looks to go big next ball but it squirts into the leg-side for a single.
The light meter is coming out again...
Out comes the skipper. Here's Ben Stokes.
It has suddenly got very gloomy out there.

He played a glorious extra cover drive before and with this England side they genuinely won't mind that.
Ahmed b Abrar 10 (Eng 92-2)
It was fun while it lasted.
Rehan Ahmed goes for a pretty ugly slog and the ball clatters into the off stump.
Abrar Ahmed's lack of celebration says it all.
That's a lovely shot from Rehan Ahmed, giving himself some room outside off stump and driving the ball gloriously through the covers.

Rehan is going to hit the ball in areas that Duckett and Crawley didn't do.
Is Rehan Ahmed really a teenager making his England Test debut? He looks so cool, calm and collected out there.
Only a brilliant piece of fielding from Saud Shakeel in the covers prevents another four, with Ahmed having to settle for a single.
There is around 15 minutes until close of play unless the umpires offer England the extra half an hour, though that would be light dependant.

Target 167
It really feels like the rules are being rewritten as we watch.
Rehan Ahmed adds another to his tally with a single through to mid-wicket.

Rehan Ahmed is the new Stuart Broad.
I love this from Ben Stokes! Give the youngster some time at the crease.
Rehan Ahmed skips down the track first ball and smacks Abrar Ahmed back over his head for four.
This is hilarious.
Brilliant.
Fresh from taking a five-fer on debut a smiling Rehan Ahmed has been promoted up to number three.
England's new nighthawk?
