We might only have got in 65 of the scheduled 90 overs before the rain arrived but there was a full day's worth of action and more!
England were put in to bat on a (very!) green seamer, slipped to 21-3 before a stunning fourth-wicket stand between Joe Root and Harry Brook saw them close on 315-3.
Root reached his 29th Test ton but Brook was the star of the show, and he'll resume tomorrow on 184 and looking for a maiden double hundred in just his sixth Test.
And, before we go, a reminder that we'll have live text, radio and in-play clips of England's semi-final against South Africa in the T20 World Cup later today.
