Congratulations, Ed. Wonderful news. You'll find late night cricket a blessing during the early years.
Tim Southee and Tom Blundell happy to pick singles off Stuart Broad's latest over. Will they look to target Jack Leach here?

Having read BBC live feeds for years and thought about a time when I too might have a little one to share the 3am text commentary with. What an amazing feeling to welcome little Benjamin to England cricket (big shoes for a big name).

Let's say England have the opportunity to enforce the follow-on, what is the Stokes/McCullum attitude towards it? Is it more aggressive to bat again or send New Zealand back in? As an FYI, the last time England enforced the follow-on was at Southampton against Pakistan in the Covid summer of 2020. Zak Crawley made 267, Jimmy Anderson went to 600 wickets and the game ended as a wet draw.
Jack Leach rattles of five dot balls before Tom Blundell square drives the left-arm spinner through backward point for four. New Zealand scoring a little more freely now.
When you order a Trump costume off a lesser version of a well-known website...
Tim Southee gives himself space again and biffs Stuart Broad for consecutive boundaries, this time launching him for six over mid-wicket. A big hit from the New Zealand skipper.
Very chilly on the England balcony. Gloves, hats and snoods all on display. Brendon McCullum still has his trademark sunglasses on, though. Not sure we've seen any sun all day.
Stuart Broad steams in for his fourth delivery, legs pumping. Tim Southee top edges a hook shot to a shorter one and the ball goes up and over the wicketkeeper's head. Ben Stokes reacts by stationing a fly slip in.

Andrew Brel: The follow-on. Definitely. If possible. NZ wobbling.
Jack Leach hustles through another over with just three runs taken from it. England will be looking to turn the screw now.

How many records, awards, gongs and stand names could this current crop of England men and women players end up with during this purple patch era?

Aggressive strokeplay from Tim Southee as he looks to take on Stuart Broad. Southee gives himself a bit of room and biffs the England seamer over the boundary at deep mid-wicket for six.

My beautiful six-month-old daughter Zara is teething at the moment. Each time she wakes, I keep offering to my wife to wake up and look after her. At what point will she become suspicious next week and wonder why the offers are less frequent when the Test match isn’t on?

New Zealand captain Tim Southee, who has five Test fifties with a best of 77 not out, is no mug with the bat. Will he look to counter-attack?
Tom Blundell continues to soldier on and keeps out three balls from Jack Leach before pushing a single through the covers.
Blundell then shows a rare moment of expansiveness off the final ball of the over when he picks up a slightly shorter one from Leach, drops deep in the crease, and heaves him over the bounday for four.

I'd be surprised if they do. I think the refreshing and regrouping will allow the seamers to come back harder.

If they wrap up this innings quickly and get these wickets then Ben Stokes may think they have so much momentum, in rhythm with conditions in their favour, he might want to bowl again.
Bracewell c&b Broad 6 (NZ 103-7)
Stuart Broad attempts to build some dot ball pressure, and Michael Bracewell seems happy enough to let two balls go by. However, the New Zealand batter surrenders in rather tame fashion to Broad's third delivery.
Bracewell blocks outside off stump but his timing is slightly awry and he gives Broad a simple return catch.
Should Ben Stokes enforce the follow-on if England snaffle these last three wickets quickly?
David Gower
Ex-England captain on BT Sport
It's still breezy, it's still overcast and England could be wary this pitch might flatten out. There is a very good case to enforce the follow on and bowl again.
Jack Leach, who has 3-28, continues round the wicket to the Michael Bracewell. Leach's second delivery is swept emphatically by the Kiwi batter to help bring up three figures for New Zealand.
Steven Finn
Former England bowler on BT Sport
England are confusing their opponents. New Zealand have been affected by the way England have been playing. A couple of those dismissals were un-Kiwi like. You normally have to work hard to take their wickets.
