  1. SA 292-5published at 43 overs

Need 50 more from 42 balls

Spin now from both ends as Moeen is brought back into the attack. Miller makes sure South Africa don't fall too far behind the asking rate though. He shuffles across and sweeps a full delivery to the fence. Jansen does a good job of knocking it around too.

Looks like we're all set for a tight finish.

Top notch stuff from Adil Rashid. Picks up a key wicket and keeps the over down to four. The onus is on South Africa again to make the play.

Did anybody say wicket? Here's one if you did!

Adil Rashid gets England a crucial breakthrough. Markram didn't read the googly, Rashid tossed it up and gave it some air and it went straight through the gate as Markram looked to work it leg side.

    50-50 game again.

  4. SA 280-4published at 41 overs

    Need 63 from 54 balls

Curran has done a good job of holding one end up, another over here where he doesn't concede a boundary. Unfortunately, he hasn't had much support from the other end.

Should South Africa chase these down, it'll be the highest successful chase at this venue.

  5. 6 runs

    SA 273-4published at 40 overs

    Need 70 from 60 balls

Superb shot from Miller. Topley goes full and wide, Miller gets underneath it and scoops it over the point boundary for six.

Lovely looking cover drive from Markram net him a boundary earlier in the over too as he found the gap with pin-point precision.

Topley has been expensive today, 0-61 from eight overs thus far.

  6. SA 260-4published at 39 overs

    Need 83 from 66 balls

Roy at mid-off saves England a couple more. He might've got only nine with the bat today but he's saved England some valuable runs in the field.

Some tag-team work between fielders in the deep keeps a crisp pull shot from Miller down to just one and Curran finishes the over off well with just another single. No boundary in that over, just what England need.

South Africa are 26 runs ahead of where England were at the same stage. Same number of wickets lost.

  7. SA 254-4published at 38 overs

    Need 89 from 72 balls

South Africa are doing a great job at keeping the required rate in check. England need to sneak in a couple of quiet overs to build some scoreboard pressure because if South Africa keep going at this pace, they'll make it home with balls to spare.

Wickets and dots, that's the name of the game for England.

  8. SA 246-4published at 37 overs

Miller ends the over with a crisp sweep shot that reaches the ropes in the blink of an eye. Can't help but feel we've got an exciting battle up ahead.

  9. SA 237-4published at 36 overs

    Need 106 from 84 balls

This game is beautifully poised now. Hard to pick a side at this stage. If England get another wicket here, they'll be in the driver's seat. Jansen, Maharaj and Parnell to come for South Africa.

Oh yes, that's a good grab skipper!

Timely wicket for England and Buttler deserves as much credit for it as Stone does. Klaasen went for a flashy drive to a length delivery and it went off a thick edge at some pace. Buttler jumped high and to his right to grab it one-handed.

  12. 6 runs

    SA 233-3published at 35 overs

    Need 109 from 90 balls

Just when it looked like Topley had done a good job, he finishes poorly. He bangs it in short and it doesn't rise. Markram sits on it before pulling it over the deep square leg fence.

  13. SA 224-3published at 34 overs

    Target 343

Double change for England as Stone is reintroduced at the other end.

The runs continue to come quite easily for South Africa though. Klaasen just picked one up off a length and chipped it over mid on with ease. He'll take that despite needing to replace his bat after.

Stone fares a bit better upon his return than Topley did, six runs off that over.

  14. SA 218-3published at 33 overs

    Markram 20, Klaasen 20

Topley is back for what should be a short burst. It hasn't started well for him though, the first two deliveries are knocked around before the third is clipped away to the fine leg fence. The next delivery finds the long off fence as Klaasen slaps it straight back.

It ends with a dot and a couple more but it's still an expensive over for England, 13 come off it.

So, as it stands, South Africa need 138 runs to win from 108 deliveries. With seven wickets still in hand, they'll fancy their chances. England are by no means out of it though. Another wicket here will make things very interesting indeed.

  16. 6 runs

    SA 200-3published at 31.1 overs

This is some shot from Markram! Woakes sees him walking down the track and he drops it a touch short but he goes through with the shot anyway. He picks it up off his hips and jabs it over the forward square-leg fence for six.

He would've had his heart in his mouth for a second because it just about cleared Duckett there.

  17. SA 194-3published at 31 overs

    Target 343

Good bit of fielding from Roy at short cover saves three for England.

So it's just ones and twos off that over as South Africa knock it around. Seven off it.

  18. SA 187-3published at 30 overs

    Markram 6, Klaasen 3

Might be two new batters at the crease but they've seemingly already settled in nicely. No false shots, nice rotation strike and sensible batting so far.

My my, hasn't this game turned on its head. Suddenly, both set batters gone and two new batters in.
