  1. SA 135-1published at 20.0 overs

Temba Bavuma with a crisp cut shot off Olly Stone as he squirts the ball past backward point to the fence for four. He's 81 off 76 balls and heading ominously for a century here.

  2. SA 129-1published at 19.0 overs

A bit of tetchy exchange between Jos Buttler and Rassie van der Dussen during Adil Rashid's over. The South Africa batter a little perturbed with Buttler's movement's behind the stumps as he attempts to anticipate the shot. Nowt wrong with a little bit of needle, eh?

  3. SA 124-1published at 18.1 overs

Adil Rashid with a rank half-tracker which Temba Bavuma comfortably dispatches for four on the pull. Not exactly the start England wanted after the drinks break.

    SA 117-1published at 17.4 overs

Olly Stone starts with a couple of testing balls to Temba Bavuma before he scurries a single to Rassie van der Dussen.

Van der Dussen a little happier to take the bowling on as he hooks Stone for an emphatic six on the front foot. That has come down with snow on it.

Jos Buttler attempts to upset the South African batters a little after Temba Bavuma sweeps Adil Rashid. Buttler takes the unorthodox step of standing down the leg side and shuffling across to off instead.

Marais Erasmus has a quick word with Buttler to make sure he's not using it as tactic to disrupt the Bavuma and Rassie van der Dussen.

However, Van der Dussen picks Rashid's leg-break and carves him for four over third man.

  8. SA 100-1published at 16.0 overs

Olly Stone's face is a picture of focus and determination as he hits his delivery stride.

Rassie van der Dussen looks fairly comfortable against his pace, though, and is able to work the England quick by opening the face.

Another bowling change as Jos Buttler turns to Adil Rashid.

  9. SA 95-1published at 15.0 overs

England were building some pressure, but South Africa have just eased that a little.

Sam Curran is a tad full with a slower ball which allows Rassie van der Dussen to unfurl a crisp drive, and the ball screeches away along the turf to the boundary

A couple of balls later and Temba Bavuma thrashes Curran across the line and to the fence for four, before a little bit of fortune for the South Africa skipper who nearly plays on with a wild slash as the ball flies off the bottom edge to the boundary.

This is good, aggressive quick bowling from Olly Stone.

He gets one to climb off the pitch to Temba Bavuma, who bobs out of the way keeping his hands down. A couple of balls later and he beats the bat again.

Stone with England's first maiden in this innings.

Was Quinton de Kock still a little bit winded after that blow from Olly Stone? Next ball the South Africa opener miscues a whip off his legs to deep square leg where Ben Duckett races in to take a smart catch diving forward.

The third umpire briefly checks it's cleanly taken by Duckett, but the fielder clearly got his hands underneath the ball.

    Big breakthrough for England.
