Sri Lanka have to get up to 130 here. It sounds more in your own mind if you get there.

  2. SL 129-4published at 20 overs

It's a good over for Kapp with Sri Lanka getting only five more runs. It's a dot ball to finish their innings.

  3. SL 124-4published at 19.1 overs

It's a dot ball to start Kapp's over.

This is where South Africa are so good.

They are so good at the start and at the end with Marizanne Kapp and Shabnim Ismail.

Sri Lanka were on cause for 135 at least but it feels like South Africa are starting to get that momentum back.

There's a penalty for South Africa not bowling their overs quick enough.

Kapp can only have three fielders in the outside circle now.

    Silva b Ismail 4 (123-4)

    Bowled!

Another wicket for South Africa! Silva makes the mistake of exposing her stumps and it's an easy target for Shabnim Ismail.

    The crowd love that.

Marizanne Kapp celebrated that second one hard and that is because it is the key batter of Chamari Atapattu.

    It was a good catch.

That is crucial for Sri Lanka. She will be really frustrated with that. She needed to see her side through to the end.

  9. SL 119-3published at 17.3 overs

    Team hat-trick ball coming up...

It's a good length from Marizanne Kapp and wicketkeeper Sinalo Jafta falls to her left but misses the ball. Sri Lanka scamper a bye.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.2 overs

    Atapattu c de Klerk b Kapp 68 (SL 114-3)

And another one! The captain departs.

It's a team hat-trick now. Two new batters at the crease after Atapattu, who has played majestically, holes out to Nadine der Klerk at long leg.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.1 overs

Vishmi run out 35 (SL 114-2)

Unlucky for Vishmi, who is run out by Tamzin Brits at the non-striker's end.

  12. SL 114-1published at 16 overs

Shot after shot from Chamari Atapattu. Another four crashed through the covers.

These are my new fashion accessory.

My suitcase didn't arrive and new flip flops give you blisters and my trainers were hurting me.

I knew that Crocs wouldn't give me blisters. I went for the spiciest pair I could. I've gone for it.

Chamari Atapattu is silencing the crowd here, she's playing an absolute blinder and South Africa are just starting to get a little rattled.

In the press box we've also all just discovered that Vishmi Gunaratne was born in 2005, and now we're just sad.

  19. SL 106-1published at 15.5 overs

And ANOTHER hat-trick boundaries off of Nadine de Klerk over! Chamari Atapattu is one fire tonight.

South Africa would have felt they started quite well but in the middle part on the innings things have taken off!

  20. How's stat?!published at 18:08 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2023

    Vishmi Gunaratne

Vishmi Gunaratne, who is looking good out in the middle, scored 417 not out from 128 balls in a Sri Lanka inter-schools tournament recently. Star of the future.

Thanks to Krithika on Twitter for that stat!
