The Dane van Niekerk story has been massive. She has been planning this tournament as her comeback.
Cricket South Africa have changed their fitness during her injury. Dane's time was the quickest she's ever ran. She is hurting.
She wants South Africa to do well. She is desperate for them to do well.

I am actually quite emotional today. We last hosted a global tournament in 2010 with the football World Cup and this feels long overdue.
We had a lot of fear that the ticket sales were a bit slow. But the online ticket sales have sold out for this game. I expect Paarl will be full, it is close to people's homes.
Both of the teams have walked out for their national anthems.
There's young kids in front of each player, which is something I've always wanted to do.

England have only won the trophy once, in the first edition of the tournament in 2009.
Can they knock favourites Australia off the top spot? Or will ever-improving India win their first world title?
BBC Sport have teamed up with former England spinner and BBC Test Match Special pundit Alex Hartley to get her predictions and players to look out for. You can read them here.
Australia head in to the competition as strong favourites, having won five of the past six editions.
But Heather Knight's England are also in good shape, buoyed by a recent clean sweep against West Indies and under the stewardship of new coach Jon Lewis.

We have been told it's a sell-out here, and it is starting to fill up nicely - something we were a little concerned about given all the controversy around South Africa's build-up and the team's recent form.
There are lots of kids, the grass banks are full and baked in sunshine with people lounging on colourful bean bags, which looks like the place to be here.
The opening ceremony was everything you'd expect from the Rainbow Nation: colour, jazzy dance moves, fireworks, real carnival vibes.
Here we go!
Plenty of support in the crowd for South Africa

Dane van Niekerk is on wife duties during the warm-up despite being left out of the squad, seen here helping Marizanne Kapp mark out her run-up.
South Africa's Dane van Niekerk is on commentary duty today. She was left out of the South Africa squad after failing "to meet the minimum criteria for fitness".
Sune Luus is captaining the side in Van Niekerk's absence.
Van Niekerk's wife, Marizanne Kapp, is in the South Africa team and she spoke to BBC Sport about her feelings earlier this week.
South Africa captain Sune Luus: "It is a new wicket and it looks really good. It is difficult to defend here in night matches.
"It is a massive honour to captain the girls. I am looking forward to getting on the field and hopefully we'll kick off with a win.
"It was good to win the tri-series to get some momentum."
Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu: "I am feeling good. We would have batted first definitely so I'm not worried about the toss.
"We are in a good moment so I'm pretty confident in the group. We've had good preparation in the last couple of months and we've played really good cricket in the last couple of games."
South Africa won the toss and choose to bowl first
A first win of the competition for South Africa, albeit a small one, as the coin comes down in their favour.
I mean those views definitely beat what I can see from my window...
