Sophia Dunkley goes big - in fact it's huge!

She charges new bowler Hayley Matthews, smashes the ball back over her head and the diving fielder on the boundary can only help the ball over the rope.

    First six of the day.

Shamilia Connell will feel she is unlucky there but she is giving Danni Wyatt the opportunity to free her hands.

  3. Eng 19-0published at 2 overs

England are in the mood - though they have a touch of fortune as well as a wide delivery from Shamilia Connell is under-edged by Danni Wyatt and flies past first slip and away for four.

The next ball is pulled into the on-side for two.

These two batters are racing along.

That is a really poor delivery to be bowling with the field she's got set. You've got to be bowling full, not short.

  5. Eng 12-0published at 1.1 overs

Heather Knight said at the toss that she wanted to see aggressive cricket and her team are delivering so far.

Sophia Dunkley has played a huge heave towards deep mid-wicket that looked four all the way, but it plugged just short of the rope and England run three.

It has been a frenetic start but you can see how Sophia Dunkley wants to come out and play shots.

They have spoke about wanting to play an aggressive brand of cricket and wanting to entertain people. I'm pretty sure if they play like this people will turn up.

  7. Eng 9-0published at 1 over

No sign of nerves there. Danni Wyatt clatters a half-volley through the covers for a glorious four.

That was an eventful first over. If we see more of that we are in for an entertaining few hours.

A bit of a wild swipe by Sophia Dunkley first up flashes past first slip and down to deep third for a single.

Ohh, and if that hit that was out.

England set off for a single that was never really there. The throw misses but Dunkley was not even in the frame as it fizzed past the stumps.

    A nervy start from England.

We have a quick turnaround. England openers Danni Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley are already making their way to the middle.

The West Indies players gather in a huddle near the boundary. They will want a fast start to try and impose a bit of scoreboard pressure.

This was one of the highlights from England in the field. Superb fielding from from the skipper Heather Knight.

    Thanks, Matthew.

    I'm with you on that.

England have had better fielding performances, but I think they have enough firepower in their batting line-up to chase down that total.

    I'm backing England from here.

Tom Mallows will take you through the chase...

  14. 'We did a decent job'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2023

England's Sarah Glenn, speaking on Sky Sports: "I thought we did a decent job in the end, it was tough out there with the heat. West Indies ran well, and we had to cut out the twos. On this surface, you have to keep the stumps in place. It's a decent wicket so you don't want to be predictable. We're confident of chasing this down. I'm so excited to see the girls go out there and be aggressive and on the front foot."

Hayley Matthews batted really well at the start, striking 42 from 32 balls.

That knock gave West Indies the start they needed to get to this middling score but England came back pretty well.

They weren't at their best but, for me, are still favourites.

That is probably 15 runs more than England will have wanted. There were 18 extras, including 12 wides.

They will feel they are in the game but they have to bat well.

West Indies scamper two from the last.

Both sides are probably happy with that but, after West Indies quick start, it's England with the momentum.

  18. WI 132-7published at 19.5 overs

Another swing and another miss before a single is stolen.

    Can Bell finish it off?

  19. WI 131-7published at 19.3 overs

Bell nips in with two dot balls as Shamilia Connell misses with two huge swings of the bat.

  20. WI 131-7published at 19.1 overs

Lauren Bell begins the final over.

    140 looks unlikely now.
