There is quite a bit of turn out there for Sophie Ecclestone. If the West Indies can get up to a competitive total their spinners will be licking their lips.

That's better from Chinelle Henry! She drives Sarah Glenn through the covers perfectly, not that I'm biased.

  3. WI 90-3published at 14 overs

    Campbelle 27, Henry 5

Shemaine Campbelle gets a much-needed boundary, even if I think it came off the back of her bat.

Chinelle Henry almost gets herself in a tangle later in the over with the tiniest of inside edges seeing her escape going lbw.

I don't think she's a relation of mine by the way, but if someone could check...

England have done well to break that partnership and Hayley Matthews.

They are in total control of this game.

  5. WI 81-3published at 13 overs

I think this ground has charged into my top three favourites in the world. I need to get myself there.

Without Hayley Matthews bashing the ball about, England can get away with the loose balls. A Sarah Glenn full toss goes unpunished.

    Campbelle 19, Henry 1

You can tell England are a lot happier now just from their body language. They're buzzing about.

There's a decent crowd in today too. Good to see.

England could bowl West Indies out before they reach 100 as we know they have a tendency to collapse and England have a world-class bowling attack.

Gajnabi run out Capsey 1 (WI 71-3)

    Don't doubt yourself, Dan!

It's a perfect, accurate throw from the deep from Alice Capsey and wicketkeeper Amy Jones has the bails off in a flash.

Gajnabi is a few inches short. England are well into this now.

My naked eye gave it out, but my naked eye is very unreliable.

    Tight!

Shabika Gajnabi takes on Alice Capsey's arm. Has she made it back?

  12. WI 70-2published at 11 overs

Almost another! Sophie Ecclestone comes within a whisker of bowling the sweeping Gajnabi.

The left-arm spinner's hands are on her head but she has done the job in that over by removing Matthews.

If there is anybody you can rely on to break a partnership it is Sophie Ecclestone.

Hayley Matthews is such a key player for the West Indies and now she is out you fear they will struggle from now on.

England will hope to squeeze now. Batting depth is West Indies' big issue.

Shabika Gajnabi is their number four and averages just four.

    Matthews lbw b Ecclestone 42 (WI 69-2)

Out! It's absolutely plumb. England's key player Sophie Ecclestone has removed West Indies biggest threat Hayley Matthews.

Matthews was flying and you can see from Ecclestone's celebrations how important that is.

Big moment! Sophie Ecclestone has Hayley Matthews out lbw right after drinks.

The West Indies skipper reviews but I think she knows...

Here's the only wicket England have managed so far...

  20. WI 69-1published at 10 overs

    Matthews 42, Campbelle 14

When England beat West Indies 5-0 in December, West Indies were bowled out for 43 in one game and in another made only 82-9.

You'd think England are going to have a far more challenging day today.

Time for a much-needed drinks break in the heat.
