The home fans have come to life as Shakib, the ball after the successful review, sweeps powerfully in front of square for four.

They get their eight from that over but not without an anxious moment or two.

    Ban 80-3

The ball brushes the glove on the way through, that's why Shakib Al Hasan was so quick to review.

Bangladesh are still fighting to stay in this.

Even singles are proving hard to come by now for Bangladesh. They keep trying to drop and run but each time Buttler is too quick.

Springing up from behind the stumps to deny them the run.

The required rate has edged above eight-an-over.

  5. Ban 75-3published at 18.1 overs

    Target 327

Moeen Ali into the attack and despite his first ball going to the rope, it's positive signs for England.

Big turn, Shakib misses with a sweep and Buttler was on his way off down leg before that turn. He can't get back and so it's four byes.

  6. Ban 71-3published at 18 overs

Shakib shows the first signs of wanting to kick on a bit with an aerial sweep that lands safely behind square for two.

He follows it up by hitting over the off side, just a single this time, and Tamim is unable to score from the last two balls of Jacks' over.

  7. Ban 68-3published at 17 overs

Good over from Wood, plenty of short stuff and, when he does go that bit fuller, perhaps just a hint of reverse swing.

Not what Bangladesh want to see.

Having said the Bangladesh batter are comfortable against Wood, the England fast bowler hits Tamim Iqbal with a nasty bumper.

The Tigers skipper tried to sway clear of it but ends up wearing it on the chest.

Will Jacks' bowling: 17% full, 83% good length and 0% short. 3 overs, 0 maidens, went for 10 runs, took 0 wickets with an economy of 3.33.Image source, BBC Sport

Jacks is giving the ball plenty of flight and finding ample turn as well. Another one beats the bat while a further two find edges that are just thick enough to keep slip out of the equation.

Will Jacks will continue after drinks. Bangladesh need 7.51 runs an over for the next 35 to level the series.

As well as Tamim and Shakib are going, that's still a big ask.

  11. drinks break

This Bangladesh pair are dealing with the pace of Wood pretty comfortably so far.

The more expansive shots have been put away but they're ticking over nicely at the moment.

Time for drinks. It can't be long until we see Adil Rashid. That might liven things up...

  12. Ban 59-3published at 14 overs

Shakib manages to end the Jacks over with a boundary as he chops the ball down to deep third.

It was a late cut, a thick edge but wide of Moeen at slip.

  13. Ban 54-3published at 13 overs

Mark Wood's bowling: 0% full, 58% good length and 42% short. 2 overs, 0 maidens, went for 8 runs, took 0 wickets with an economy of 4.00.Image source, BBC Sport

Good running from Shakib to get back for two after nudging Wood into the leg side. That said, a better throw and he might have been struggling.

Wood is starting to warm up now as well, he's up to 93mph but Tamim and Shakib are hanging in there for Bangladesh.

  14. Ban 49-3published at 12 overs

Big turn for Jacks second ball, ripping past Shakib's outside edge and Buttler quickly brings Moeen Ali into slip.

The over was like three balls repeated just with a different batter, a dot, a beauty that rags past the edge and then a single.

  15. Ban 47-3published at 11 overs

    Tamim 25, Shakib 16

Solid start from Wood. Just the three runs from the over and a top speed just shy of 90mph.

Will Jacks will bowl the next over.

Powerplay done and Bangladesh, having made a recovery of sorts, are ahead of where England were at the same stage.

In a way, at least. They've got four more runs but have lost two more wickets. I know which situation I'd rather be in.

  19. Ban 42-3published at 9.3 overs

Frustration for Mahmood as, seeing a bit of width, Tamim slashes at the ball and gets an edge.

It's wide of slip though and way for four.

We've got a delay as Saqib Mahmood isn't happy with the footmarks where he is landing in his delivery stride.
