    Middlesex 143-4 v Notts 364

Hutton comes close with an LBW shout against Stoneman - but it's not out.

Moving in off the seam and the Middlesex opener is anchored to the crease.

Looks OK for height, top of middle perhaps. Did he hit it?

Broad is bowling to two slips and a less convincing LBW shout is turned down.

Oh no! Four wides as Broad spears one between first and second slip.

    Sussex 361 v Yorks 256-9

McAndrew drops short and wide of off stump and Ben Coad uppercuts to point for four runs.

Can Yorkshire's 10th wicket pair emulate Carson and Crocombe's stand on Friday afternoon?

    That would be fun.

Keaton Jennings is beaten by a ball from Peter Siddle. Did it brush the bat? The Australia bowler thinks/hopes so.

    The answer is no.

But three balls later, Siddle strikes to remove Josh Bohannon.

He puts the ball in the right place just outside off and Bohannon nipples at it to edge behind.

The number three departs when a century was almost there for the taking after a stand of 222 with Jennings.

    Sanderson c Organ b Fuller 3 (Northants 140-8 v Hants 482-8 dec)

Ben Sanderson jabs a ball from James Fuller to Felix Organ at point and there is a five-for for the Hampshire paceman.

It's the sixth of his career in red-ball cricket and he needs one more wicket to reach 200 in first-class games.

    Holden c Hameed b Broad 7

Are the wheels starting to come off here?

Holden's batting woes this season continue as he clips a ball from Stuart Broad straight to Haseeb Hameed at mid wicket.

Time for John Simpson to have a bat. He has good form behind him this summer - and his team need every bit of it now.

    Sussex 361 v Yorks 250-9

Can Yorkshire eke out a batting point from here?

No giveaways from McAndrew here as he tries to york Edwards, who digs the ball out.

Three close catchers crowd around Coad's bat - and the Yorkshire number 11 lofts a leg-side and flighted delivery over mid wicket for six!

A flatter delivery is nudged through point for two - and there's the batting point.

  7. Postpublished at 11:44 British Summer Time 22 April 2023

    Northants 137-7 v Hants 482-8 dec

No hat-trick for James Fuller but he is producing some genuinely quick deliveries at Wantage Road this morning.

A wayward one is too quick for keeper Ben Brown and flies past his right glove and away for four byes.

  8. Postpublished at 11:43 British Summer Time 22 April 2023

    Somerset 441 v Lancashire 373-1

Josh Bohannon slashes one over the top of the slips area as he gets four more to take his score into the 80s.

Somerset have already turned to Jack Leach this morning, although his first over went for six.

    Middlesex 133-3 v Notts 364

Holden gets a short ball from Hutton and swings it away behind square leg for a single.

    Cobb b Fuller 44 (Northants 130-7 v Hants 428-8 dec)

An absolute jaffer from James Fuller to start a new over which extracts Josh Cobb's off stump.

Having bowled Gareth Berg at the end of his last over, the Hampshire fast bowler is on a hat-trick.

Ben Sanderson - first-class average of 9.24 before this match - to face.

  11. Postpublished at 11:39 British Summer Time 22 April 2023

    Sussex 361 v Yorks 240-9

Yorkshire's last batter is Ben Coad with a slip, short leg and leg slip for company.

Carson is getting good flight and dip here as Coad defends.

  12. 50 runs

for Liam Trevaskispublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 22 April 2023

    Glamorgan v Durham 429-7

A single off Michael Neser takes Liam Trevaskis to his seventh first-class 50 from 101 balls.

His stand of 128 with Brydon Carse comes to and end though as the latter falls lbw to the Australian paceman for 91 later in the over.

Carse faced 110 balls and hit three sixes and 10 fours.

    Fisher c Pujara b McAndrew 9

Sensational catch at mid on by Cheteshwar Pujara!

Matt Fisher tries to hammer a short delivery away to the leg side and that's a goalkeeper dive from the Sussex captain to snare the ball.

    239-9 and 122 behind!

    Somerset 441 v Lancashire 357-1

Keaton Jennings helps himself to a couple off new bowler Lewis Gregory as the scoreboard ticks on.

That brings up the 200 between him and Josh Bohannon at 6.5 runs per over.

Lancashire have scored 55 in just eight overs this morning.

  15. Postpublished at 11:34 British Summer Time 22 April 2023

    Middlesex 127-3 v Notts 364

Stoneman nicks Stuart Broad just past lone slipper Duckett in the second slip region and gets away with a couple of runs.

A rare false shot from Stoneman in this knock to date.

A couple of close catchers on the leg side - and one of them might join Duckett behind the bat soon.

    Berg b Fuller 10 (Northants 123-6 v Hants 482-8 dec)

So close. James Fuller produces a rapid yorker and Gareth Berg gets the toe of the bat down just in time.

No doubt about that one as Berg plays around one which Fuller may just have held back a bit and his middle stump is flattened.

Chris Tremain is the new batter.

  17. wicket

    Critchley c&b McKerr 1 (Kent v Essex 330-4)

    Great work Conor McKerr!

Matt Critchley tries to check his drive but it loops up and McKerr takes a super one-handed catch with his wrong hand.

Three wickets now this morning for Kent as Essex chase quick runs.

  18. Postpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 22 April 2023

    Sussex 361 v Yorks 237-8

Close call for Mickey Edwards, who pushes forwards with uncertainty against McAndrew and pops the ball over and just out of the reach of forward short leg.

He gets away with a streaky single.

Carson is bowling with good loop and flight at the other end and the Yorkshire pair of Edwards and Fisher manage a single apiece.

Kasey Aldridge decides to go short against Keaton Jennings and he is crunched through midwicket for four.

He tries again and Jennings top edges it for six to bring up his 150.

Aldridge tries a third time and Jennings obliges with another maximum.

The Lancashire captain is now 160 not out off 202 balls and he has also brought up his side's 350 and their third batting point.

  20. Postpublished at 11:28 British Summer Time 22 April 2023

    Northants 122-5 v Hants 482-8 dec

Beautiful timing by Josh Cobb who strokes it back past the despairing left hand of bowler Mohammad Abbas and the ball runs away for four. Cobb now has 41 not out and Gareth Berg is on 10.

BBC Radio Northampton's Andrew Radd tells listeners that Lewis McManus' injury is, in fact, a broken finger.

Looks like Northants will need a replacement keeper if they manage to make Hampshire bat again.
