    Kohler-Cadmore c De Grandhomme b Balderson 16 (Somerset 441 & 90-4 v Lancashire 554)

Tom Abell edges George Balderson through the slips and it looks like Luke Wells got a hand to it.

The replay suggests it bounced just in front. Single taken.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore is solidly forward in defence, but this time he's gone!

Going hard at the ball and a checked drive results in an edge to second slip. It's a great grab by Colin de Grandhomme - diving at full stretch.

  3. wicket

    Haynes c O Price b de Lange 0 (Worcs 28-3 - target 301)

You don't want to be on the receiving end of that sort of delivery when you are on a pair.

Jack Haynes, out first ball in the first innings, gets a real snorter from Marchant de Lange for his third in this knock and can only glove it to the slips where Olly Price makes no mistake.

Real hostility from de Lange so far in this spell.

WICKETpublished at 12:11 British Summer Time 23 April 2023

    Azhar c de Lange b T Price 9 (Worcs 27-2 - target 301)

    What are Worcestershire doing?

Azhar Ali attempts another pull shot, miscues and Marchant de Lange takes the catch at mid-on.

That's six wickets in the match now for Tom Price, who took a hat-trick in the first innings, if you remember.

    Somerset 441 & 90-3 v Lancashire 554

George Balderson has replaced Tom Bailey and the pressure has been eased somewhat on the Somerset batters.

A decent over is spoiled by the last ball being worked to the midwicket fence for four.

And from the first ball of Saqib Mahmood's next over, Tom Kohler-Cadmore gets four down past gully as Somerset move closer to parity.

The deficit is now just 23.

A bit of a gift wicket for Gloucestershire.

  10. Gloom descends on Glamorganpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 23 April 2023

    Glamorgan 183-8 v Durham 471-9 dec

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham have taken three quick wickets this morning but are now being interrupted by gloom in Cardiff.

The players have gone off for bad light in a match which has already seen 141 overs fall to the elements. They are not allowed to put the floodlights on here either.

Brydon Carse has caused most of the damage. He got Chris Cooke caught behind for 32 with his third ball of the day, then trapped Michael Neser lbw for one.

Ben Raine also picked up a wicket. Dan Douthwaite hooking a delivery to the diving Carse at long leg when on 12. It was not the shot to play in the circumstances.

The follow-on target is 322, but could the weather be the real winner at Sophia Gardens?

  11. dropped catch

Pollock escapespublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 23 April 2023

    Worcs 5-0 (target 301)

Worcestershire opener Ed Pollock is not renowned for an 'occupy the crease' mentality, His natural instinct is to attack.

Marchant de Lange has the ball and finds the edge with his first delivery, but the chance is floored at fourth slip.

The South African - in his 100th first-class game - follows it with a no-ball but then fizzes a lifter past Jake Libby and raps him on the gloves with a straighter one. He's clearly up for the task.

  14. Bad light stops play at Cardiffpublished at 11:51 British Summer Time 23 April 2023

    Glamorgan 183-8 v Durham 471-9 dec

You don't need to be a genius to work out how frustrating this must be for Durham. Well on top in the game and with the prospect of forcing a win if they can polish off Glamorgan's first innings quickly, they must hope that this will be a short interruption.

Kiran Carlson is 60 not out for Glamorgan and Timm van der Gugten has two.

This is good Sunday morning stuff from Messrs Bailey and Anderson.

They have taken three wickets for just five runs in 23 balls and it has changed the complexion of the game.

Anderson has only given up a single in his four overs so far.

Stand-in captain Dane Vilas (with Keaton Jennings injured) will want to keep these two on as long as possible while they have a good rhythm going.
