Crawley 56, Duckett 51
What do they say about hanging it in the Louvre? Well this.
Zak Crawley hits his second textbook cover drive in the over. You can't play it much better.
12 runs from that over.

There have been some streaky shots, but there's nothing streaky about that - it has raced through the outfield and disrupts those pigeons in the corner!
And now Zak Crawley joins his opening partner in going to fifty!
He gets there with a glorious drive from his 39th delivery.
He is probably in with a chance of Jessop's record, which stands at 76 balls, if he fancies it.

Ben Duckett has made that look very easy. He has looked a lot more in control than Crawley has.
Alison Mitchell
Cricket commentator on BBC Test Match Special
He has batted in his typical, aggressive style, he has been very busy and that is his sixth half-century under Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum.
Easy as you like.
Ben Duckett knocks a couple into a big open pace and jogs back to reach his fifty from 53 balls.
It's his first in a home Test.

That's happened three times now in the space of about eight balls. They've all been poor shots and he has got lucky.

Zak Crawley has done it again! Another inside edge past his stumps. He'd batted effortlessly until the last 10 minutes.
Zak Crawley's wagon wheel
Four more to Ben Duckett, this one a classy drive down the ground.
Who's going to be the first to mention Gilbert Jessop and his fastest century record?

England won't be far off Ireland's total by the close if they keep scoring at this rate, and I have no doubt that they will keep going.
They will probably try and win this in two days.
Crawley 43, Duckett 43
Chris (17:36 BST) said he's worried about his ticket for Saturday. Regent's Park is just around the corner. You might have to arrange your own game...

That was a genuine edge and genuine hard luck for the bowler. It was a much better ball, a much better length.
Ireland's bowlers will not be used to this, and it must be very intimidating.
Another inside edge past the stumps! That's three boundaries in a row for Zak Crawley although two of them were rather sketchy.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
That is very unlucky for the bowler. That could've so easily been chopped onto his stumps.
Sometimes as a bowler, you just need a little bit of luck.
Close! That's the first real scare for England.
Zak Crawley slashes a wide ball but it goes just past his stumps off an inside edge.
The next delivery is poor, however. Crawley helps himself off his pads to get the runs flowing again.

BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
Oh that is an ugly shot.
Crawley 29, Duckett 43
Ireland have just managed to quieten things down a little to their credit. Ben Duckett goes for a swipe and he momentarily loses the ball as it stops right at his feet.
Play can go until 18:30 BST, by the way.

This is lovely to watch but can someone at Lord's today just pop down to see Stokes and ask him very kindly to slow this down a touch? My brother and me are taking our Dad on Saturday for his birthday and we would love to actually see some cricket!

I don't want to say not a lot happened in this over but in the office we've somehow ended up discussing the joys of a MSN Messenger.
Great times.
Time for drinks.
