Crawley 29, Duckett 38
England fail to find the boundary in this over too. Does this class as a fightback?

That was the first over in which England didn't hit a boundary.
But Ireland's bowling is particularly inexperienced. Fionn Hand is playing just his third first-class match, and his second was against Essex a week ago.
Just two runs come from this latest over - a big win for Ireland.
England have had a good first powerplay.

Eoin Morgan, working for Sky today, is not impressed with Ireland's bowling or captaincy.

We know that Zak Crawley will play in the Ashes. But for him, and also for the punters asking whether he should be England's opener, it is important for him to score runs here.
He's got the backing of his team and his coaches, but he would still love some runs for his own confidence.
And again! This is off the back foot as Crawley eases the ball through point.
Ffion Hand has conceded 17 runs from his first eight balls. Out goes another fielder.

This is scintillating stuff.
Shotttttt. Whatever you think of him, this is Zak Crawley at his best. He drives another wayward ball from Fionn Hand through the covers.
Ireland still have three slips but they have boundary fielders on both sides of the wicket.
That says a lot.

The height difference between these two does mess with your length as a bowler.
That would be a length ball to Crawley but to Ben Duckett, it's not.
The fifty is brought up by the 10th four. This is a lovely shot from Ben Duckett, climbing into the tiniest bit of width.
Brendon McCullum is applauding from the dressing room with his hands high above his head.
This is exactly what he wants to see.
Crawley 20, Duckett 28
It is good batting but you have to say it's poor bowling too from Ireland. England's run rate is seven per over.
Phil Tufnell

The problem is Ireland are conceding runs both sides of the wicket, and you cannot afford that.
Four more!
Seamer Fionn Hand enters the attack but there's no change in the pattern of play. Too short again and Duckett cuts to the fence.
Phil Tufnell
Former England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
This is really tough for the bowlers, they have lost their way a little here because of how England have come out with such intent.
Ireland have just got to do their very best to string a few dots, maybe a couple of maidens together, and try and put some pressure back on England.
Crawley 20, Duckett 19
The replays suggest Duckett might have got a bit of bat on that. It might have been high too.
Hume, perhaps a little frustrated, loses his line soon after and Zak Crawley puts this away.
England are rattling along.

That swung back very late and Duckett was trapped on the crease. I think that was close, but maybe a bit high.
He's not the tallest!
That's better from Graham Hume who hits Ben Duckett on the pad. Ireland go up with an lbw appeal but the umpire shakes his head.
There's no review from Andrew Balbirnie.
