Sighs of relief in the Middlesex camp. They really need Stoneman to stick around until stumps if they're to go into day three with some cause for optimism.

Steven Mullaney is lbw for 27 to Doug Bracewell's penultimate ball of the day at Trent Bridge and that is stumps.
It has been a good day for the home side, who have added 313 to their overnight 13-0, with Matthew Montgomery making an unbeaten 130, having been dropped off Shane Snater on 0 and 4.
Ben Slater and Joe Clarke provided good support with 57 each, while Sam Cook claimed 3-51 for Essex.
Gloucs 214-6 v Durham 445
A big wicket for Durham as Ben Charlesworth tries to steer Bas de Leede towards third man and David Bedingham reaches up at second slip to grab an above head height catch.
Charlesworth batted for 228 minutes, faced 179 balls and hit a six and eight fours. Matt Taylor is in now to join Zafar Gohar.
Surrey 362 v Kent 278 & 72-1
As the South London shadows lengthen, the Surrey lead shrinks.
Tawanda Muyeye has just uppercut a rising delivery from Gus Atkinson for an incredible six over third to move to 41 from 36 balls.
Zak Crawley remains on 25 after his blistering start, these two have put on 52 in 10 overs and Kent are 12 behind.

We've got clouds overhead at Lord's, not that Somerset's bowlers have required too much assistance from the conditions so far today.
However, they'd like to pick up another wicket or two in the nine overs that remain tonight. Mark Stoneman has progressed to 25 not out, with Stephen Eskinazi on 7 and Middlesex trail by 179.

That may be that at New Road as the the umpires lead the teams off with 14 overs still to bowl. Jack Haynes is 17 not out and Gareth Roderick has six.

Notts may be looking to keep their wickets intact but never look a gift horse in the mouth - and when Doug Bracewell is short and wide at the start of a new over, Matthew Montgomery cuts it away for four.

Well, Eddie Byrom is certainly grasping that second chance eagerly - he's just swept Jack Carson for six to bring up his half-century from 64 balls.
Byrom has now passed 50 four times this season and he and Zain ul-Hassan have given Glamorgan hope as they try to wipe out this massive deficit.

It looked as though Ollie Robinson had the breakthrough there - and Eddie Byrom was halfway to the changing-room when he was called back.
The left-hander edged Robinson behind and Oli Carter appeared to have taken a diving catch to his left.
But the umpires conferred and it seems Carter spilled the ball as he landed. Byrom has made the most of his life, steering the next delivery to the boundary.

The England paceman does enough off the seam to find the edge of James Bracey's bat and it's straight to David Bedingham at second slip.
