Durham v Glos 85-1
Gloucester are getting a little bit impatient here as Dent gets away with a top edge to fine leg for a single off Raine.
He ducks under a bouncer to see out the over.
Surrey lead Division One table by 23 points from Essex
Surrey all-rounder Jordan Clark hits 107 against Nottinghamshire
Only 4.4 overs possible between Lancashire and Essex at Blackpool

Durham v Glos 85-1
Gloucester are getting a little bit impatient here as Dent gets away with a top edge to fine leg for a single off Raine.
He ducks under a bouncer to see out the over.
Worcs v Yorks 104-0
Joe Leach angles the ball across Finlay Bean and the Yorkshire opener cuts for four to reach a 67-ball half-century.
It's the ninth boundary of his innings and Worcestershire must be rueing the dropped catch when he had 28.
Surrey 64-1 v Notts
The pattern continues at The Oval. Tight bowling by Notts, with Dom Sibley and Tom Latham content to pick up runs here and there and wait for a very occasional bad ball.
Having lost Rory Burns for a duck, Surrey will be quite content to get to lunch with no further damage. Will Notts try an over or two of Calvin Harrison's leg-spin by way of variety?
Middlesex v Northants 54-1
Toby-Roland Jones returns to the Middlesex attack and Justin Broad taps a slightly wide ball past gully for a single.
Gay defends resolutely forward.
The last ball is angled across the opener and squares him up as the ball just evades the outside edge.
Tough runs this morning. No "bazball" cricket here.
Kent 54-4 v Warwickshire
Kent's running remains haphazard. Two balls in succession there is confusion between Tawanda Muyeye and Jordan Cox which leads to both of them having to turn-tail halfway down the track and head back to safety, just beating the fielders' throw.
Lunch can't come soon enough for the hosts, who have limped their way to 50 from 21 overs. They need to regroup.
Durham v Glos 74-1
Potts is back in the Durham attack and a very full ball is edged by Dent between second slip and gully for four runs.
Not his best shot today - but it takes the visitors to a 50 partnership for the second wicket off 88 balls.
Lancashire v Essex 12-1 - rain stopped play
Scott Read
BBC Radio Lancashire commentator
Blackpool Cricket Club have waited over a decade to see the return of the County Championship to Stanley Park and the opening day could be ruined by the weather.
By coincidence, the ground is staging its 100th first class match this week, and it's Lancashire's first return to Blackpool for a four-day game since 2011.
They've invested heavily in improving the drainage for the outfield which has hampered their attempts to host first-class cricket in the recent past.
However, officials at the club will be hoping for an improvement in the forecast over the next few days otherwise that newly improved drainage will be tested to the full.

The runs are continuing to flow in the second tier.
Sussex are heading in the right direction at Hove thanks to their Tom-Tom.
Tom Haines has 12 fours in his 64 while Tom Clark has another eight in his 39 and Sussex have put on an unbroken 113 for the opening wicket against Derbyshire.
Fin Bean was put down off Adam Finch for 28 but is on the verge of a half-century with Adam Lyth also in the 40s for Yorkshire, who are 94-0 against Worcestershire at New Road.
No play before lunch at soggy Sophia Gardens as Glamorgan host Leicestershire.
Middlesex v Northants 50-1
Hopefully not a commentator's curse alert but Emilio Gay is finding his touch here after a lean season to date.
Higgins bowls full and wide outside off and the opener crashes the ball through cover for four.
That's a stylish way to take his team score to 50.
Still plenty of bounce and some movement for the Middlesex attack, but just one wicket for the hosts so far.
Durham v Glos 67-1
Raine is back in the attack but he'll need to tighten his line as he strays to leg and is turned away to square leg by Dent for four runs as the opener moves to 30.
He pushes the ball outside an off stump line then strays to leg again with his fifth ball which is patted away to square leg for one more. One more run in front of square.
Somerset 50-4 v Hampshire
18 overs in and Liam Dawson is coming on to bowl some spin after his 12-wicket match figures last time out.
Wow. The left-armer gets a mile of turn off his very first ball to left-hander James Rew. Encouraging, to say the least.
Both sides have two spinners in their ranks for this game. How much cricket will we see at Taunton on Thursday afternoon, I wonder?
Middlesex v Northants 43-1
Justin Broad is an international player at T20 level, where he's represented Germany.
But he's playing the long game today as he leaves Bamber outside off stump, now on eight runs from 32 deliveries.
The last ball is a play and miss as the ball evades the edge of a defensive bat by a whisker.
Frustration for Ethan Bamber.
Sussex 108-1 v Derbyshire
Tom Haines turns Suranga Lakmal away for a single and reaches a fine half-century from 58 balls.
A square cut for four off spinner Alex Thomson brings up a 100 partnership with Tom Clark, and Haines repeats the shot next ball with the same result. He is 59 not out and Clark has 39.
Kent 40-4 v Warwickshire
This is hard to watch. Jack Leaning is run-out after a complete breakdown in communication with Tawanda Muyeye. Muyeye initially calls for a run but then changes his mind and holds his ground but non-striker Leaning either doesn't see, or hear him maybe, and they're almost stood next to each other when Leaning finally realises. He turns around to see Will Rhodes jog in, ball in hand, to whip the bails off. Muyeye sinks to his haunches. Excrutiating to watch.
Kent in disarray. Jordan Cox is the new man in the middle.
Durham v Glos 58-1
Carse drops short and Price pulls the ball away to square leg for four runs.
Another short ball from Pretorius is pulled away to square leg, this time for a single.
It's getting a bit grey and blustery here at the Riverside but crucially no rain.
Yorkshire 63-0 (15 overs) v Worcestershire
After a brief 10-minute halt at New Road, they are back out there again
Surrey 53-1 v Notts
You can't bowl there to Dom Sibley.
Lyndon James strays onto the Surrey opener's pads with the second delivery of his opening over and is flicked away square for four.
That bringus up a 50 partnership with Tom Latham, the pair having come together when Rory Burns was lbw to the second ball of the game. Sibley is now 29 not out.
Middlesex v Northants 42-1
Bamber replaces Helm in the Middlesex attack.
Justin Broad crunches the bowler away through the covers for his first boundary.
Lovely shot, with a big flourish of the bat.
At the other end Gay gets away with a thick edge off Higgins wide of the slips for three.
Kent 38-3 v Warwickshire
Ed Barnard comes into the Bears attack and his first ball is, er, loose. It just about pitches on the track but Michael Burgess can't corral the ball, flying across to his right, landing pretty much at second slip. That's officially a wide and Tawanda Muyeye jogs through to add another run to the extras column too.
The next ball is sent down leg side and the grateful Jack Leaning clips it off his hips to get off the mark with a four.
Lancs v Essex 12-1 - rain stopped play
Lancashire report that the rain is coming down heavily now and this weather "looks set to be around for the next few hours".
Only 4.1 overs were possible at the start of play, with Tom Bailey claiming the only Essex wicket to fall, with Nick Browne caught in the slips for nought.
