Danny Briggs safely navigates the final over of the day, bowled by Daryl Mitchell, and the players head off the field.
Warwickshire still trail by 148 runs, but will fancy their chances of getting close to Lancashire's first-innings score tomorrow.

Ben Slater and Haseeb Hameed survive the two final overs of the day, but Nottinghamshire are still way behind in this game.
They need an unlikely 400 more runs for victory.

Yorkshire close day two with a big first-innings lead on the cards.
Adam Lyth's century and good contributions from Finlay Bean, Ryan Rickelton and Dawid Malan (51 not out) put the hosts in the driving seat.

James Vince gestures that he's seen enough, and Hampshire's bowlers will have a little crack at Nottinghamshire this evening.
Ian Holland walks off unbeaten on 138, ably supported by James Fuller who made 52.
Derbyshire 443 v Durham 364-4
Alex Lees and David Bedingham's huge third-wicket stand of 305 put Division Two leaders Durham in a commanding position on day two.
But both batters departed before the close to give Derbyshire a chance of sneaking a first-innings lead.
Warks 159-4 v Lancs 327
Will Rhodes has batted wonderfully today, but can't make it to the close, pinned lbw by Tom Bailey.
Middlesex 179-5 v Surrey 438
That late wicket of Max Holden adds to an excellent day for Surrey.
They came back 312-5 and lost overnight centurion Jamie Smith quickly.
But Jordan Clark's 78 helped them extend their total to a commanding score.
And then they chipped out four early wickets to leave Middlesex reeling at 58-4.
Max Holden and John Simpson made fifties to mount a comeback in a stand of 116 but Holden couldn't get to the close.
Simpson will come back tomorrow on 55 but Surrey will fancy a big first-innings lead in the morning.
Essex 458-8d v Kent 207 & 4-1
The perfect end to a wonderful day for Essex.
They came back 106-0 this morning but lost four wickets before lunch.
Matt Critchley ensured the position wouldn't be lost. He made 117 before Simon Harmer's 83 set up their declaration.
Kent were almost to the close unscathed but that is a sickener last ball of the day.
They've got to bat for probably at least four sessions to get back in the game.
Notts 100 v Hants 166 & 334-5
Hampshire continue to bat Nottinghamshire out of the game at Trent Bridge.
Ian Holland and James Fuller have brought up their hundred partnership, and have stretched the lead out to exactly 400.

Oh last ball of the day and Essex strike!
Kent had almost got through a very tricky five overs but with the last delivery, Sam Cook nips one past the inside edge of Tawanda Muyeye and he looks dead lbw.
Derbyshire 443 v Durham 352-4
Derbyshire get Durham opener Alex Lees late in the day.
The County Championship's leading run-scorer snicks Sam Conners behind and departs for an excellent 171 off 210 balls.
The Division Two leaders will still be confident of building a decent first-innings lead though.
Leics 114-7 (target 238) v Worcestershire
They came off for bad light a little while ago and that's day two done.
Worcestershire will need three wickets to wrap up an impressive victory in the morning. Leicestershire's lower order needs to shine with 124 runs still required.
Northants 180 & 151-6 v Somerset 351
Bad light signals the end of day two, and means that the hosts scrape their way into a third day's play.
They are staring down the barrel of a large defeat, having lost 16 wickets today.
Only Ricardo Vasconcelos put up any significant resistance in their first innings, as Craig Overton took 4-50, and Matt Henry 3-36.
Second time around, Vasconcelos was unable to repeat his first-innings knock, falling to Henry for 8, and Northants still trail by 20 with just four wickets remaining.
Warks 145-3 v Lancs 327
Warwickshire have batted very nicely indeed in the last hour or so, and have dampened any Lancashire enthusiasm that accompanied Sam Hain's wicket.
Will Rhodes and Dan Mousley have now put on 63 for the fourth wicket.
Rhodes has 77, while Mousley has 35.
Middlesex 169-5 v Surrey 438
Breakthrough for Surrey!
Really well bowled as Sean Abbott gets one to move down the hill and take a thick outside edge from Max Holden.
It's a great catch by Dom Sibley, the only catcher in place and standing quite wide, who dives forward to his left to take the chance.
A fine stand of 116 but Middlesex need more from the lower order now.

Short arm pull from John Simpson off Tom Lawes and it sails into the Mound Stand for six!
Brings him fifty in 100 balls and continues the superb resistance with Max Holden, who has 55.
Four more overs to reach the close but the hosts still trail by a long way at Lord's.
Northants 180 & 151-6 v Somerset 351
The gloom has descended in Northampton, and the umpires take the players from the field. That'll surely be it for the day too.
Northants still trail by 20, with four wickets in hand.

Well this is surely the most pointless innings of Sam Cook's life.
Doug Bracewell is stumped with one ball to go in the over - surely that'll do?
But no, Cook comes out, takes a single to end the over, and then Tom Westley calls them in!

Anyway, Essex have a lead of 251 and will have five overs in the Kent second innings.
Simon Harmer has struck the ball destructively in the last half hour, with five sixes, and finishes 83 not out.
