That's a tasty welcome Steve Smith has just received for Lord's. There were a lot of boos.

David Warner (1,999) has missed the chance in this innings to become the 18th Australian to reach 2,000 Test runs in Ashes cricket.

It's that extra pace, what a delivery. Warner had played nicely. It is a beautiful delivery, I think Warner had planned to drive that down the ground.

Now that is a delivery...
Warner b Tongue 66 (Aus 96-2)
Bowled 'im! What a delivery!
The previous ball Josh Tongue nearly chops David Warner in half and flies over his stumps. The next delivery is even better, finding some late swing that beats Warner's defences and clips the top of his leg stump.
Head on hands time for England as David Warner very nearly chops on with a wild slog outside his off stump. It almost a repeat of his dismissal in the first Test at Edgbaston.

I'm just looking at Labuschagne's right shoulder. He's struggling with what to play and what to leave. I'd love to see a bit more of Labuschagne from the past, I don't ever remember seeing him that square.
Dropped catches and missed chances cost England at Edgbaston, it could well cost them here if David Warner goes big.
Warner drops the ball into the off side and shows his speed between the wickets to run a single, meaning he will again be on strike to face Josh Tongue.

Warner has played well since England that chance to get him out on 19. I don't think Jimmy Anderson is bowling badly, these last few overs have probably been his best in this series. There's been enough there to have seen two or three wickets.
Edged...but through the gap!
Soft hands from David Warner meant the ball was always going downwards and it races through a fourth slip region and away for another four.
Warner is now onto 63.
Oh dear. Ollie Pope goes for a diving stop at backward point but ends up in a heap clutching his shoulder.
Pope looks pale and in pain as he makes his way off the field for assessment.
David Warner then ends the over with a crisp drive through the covers for four.
A painful over all round for England.
Are England on the brink? They are creating a bit of pressure here.
Marnus Labuschagne is showing he knows where his off stump is with another brave leave before going for another wayward drive at a fuller delivery outside his off stump.
Josh Tongue is definitely getting some life out of this pitch.

Nine Tests have come before this one where Labuschagne has averaged 33 in 16 innings with just two fifties. For the first time since he became established, he is having a little bit of a dip.
Based on CricViz's expected runs model, which says how many runs each batter is expected to have scored based on the deliveries they have faced, Usman Khawaja had an xR rating of 28.9, falling for just 17.
By contrast, David Warner's xR is 35.2, but finds himself on 55 not out at present.

Warner's got a big smile on his face, he's enjoying himself. You sort of get the feeling Jimmy Anderson needs to ignite himself in this series. He didn't bowl particularly well at Edgbaston and two or three quick wickets would sort that out.
A wild swipe by David Warner outside his off stump gets the slip cordon excited. The Aussie opener has been very aggressive this morning.
Anderson ends the over with a classic delivery that just shaped away from Warner and whistles past his outside edge.
James Anderson will resume after that brief rain break, no doubt hoping the Australian batter's concentration has been disrupted.

It's funny how it goes, sometimes you don't need all of these stats to go for you, you just have to be in the right place at the right time and that is how it goes for you. That is the case for Josh Tongue.
A look at how many wickets England's bowlers should have taken each so far, based on CricViz's expected wickets model, based on the number of wickets likely to have been taken from how each bowler has fared so far.
Jimmy Anderson - 0.9
Stuart Broad - 0.8
Ollie Robinson - 0.6
Josh Tongue - 0.5
That didn't last long! It is stopped rain already and the players are coming back out.
