  1. Aus 211-3published at 58 overs

More England hands on heads as Travis Head slashes at a wider delivery from Jimmy Anderson.

The ball hangs in the air before dipping and bouncing just short of sub fielder Rehan Ahmed at backward point.

It feels like England have a chance to work their way in this little spell.

"Then the other bloke; he's a forgettable cricketer. A fast bowler that is bowling 124 (kph) nude nuts and he's got a mouth from the south."

Those are the words of former Australia opener Matthew Hayden between Tests, speaking about Ollie Robinson.

Basically, he doesn't do much with the ball and isn't quick enough to worry about, according to Hayden.

    I'll leave this here.

I still don't get Robinson. I spend so much of a day thinking he's 5mph too slow. Then he always ends with 3-50 and gets very good batters out in the process.

  4. Aus 209-3published at 57 overs

Close! After nipping a few away from Travis Head, Ollie Robinson brings one back.

The batter is extremely late on it and it whistles past the off stump.

Never mind, it was a no-ball so wouldn't have mattered even if it had clattered into the timbers.

The extra ball is costly. Short and wide again, four more easy runs for Head.

  5. Aus 202-3published at 56.1 overs

Freebie from Ollie Robinson. Short, wide and thumped away for four by Travis Head.

Those are the deliveries a batter dreams of to get off the mark.

Did you know that Marnus Labuschagne is an anagram of uncrushable gasman? Not apt, relevant or on topic, but interesting.

  7. Aus 198-3published at 56 overs

England building a bit of pressure now as Jimmy Anderson gets through a maiden to Steve Smith.

He is probing away. Three out-swingers before trying an in-ducker that Smith is able to block.

Anderson has conceded just two runs in his three overs in the spell so far.

Against top players on 25 or more, Robinson averages 17. Of players bowling to top set batters, that is the best in Test cricket.

A big over from Ollie Robinson, England needed something and someone to break that partnership of Smith and Labuschagne. It just took the edge of Labuschagne. It was going quite well for Australia until that over.

  10. Aus 198-3published at 55 overs

Fantastic over from Ollie Robinson - a wicket maiden.

England needed the breakthrough and he found it with a superb delivery.

Travis Head is the new batter and he has to duck a bumper from Robinson before a tight leave to end the over. The ball wasn't far away from off stump there!

Just seen the replay of that Marnus Labuschagne wicket. He very clearly edged it so I'm not sure what he was unhappy about?

So was that what Matthew Hayden calls a nude nut?

That's what happens bowling from the Pavilion End. Marnus Labuschagne walking off and he's not happy about something. It looks like he's not sure. He pretty obviously nicked that.

Edged and gone! Another nude nut from Ollie Robinson...

It's a beauty from the England seamer, just enough movement away to take a feather of an edge through to Jonny Bairstow.

Marnus Labuschagne didn't look happy as he walked off, he even spoke to Steve Smith before deciding against a review.

Strange one. If he thought he didn't hit it then why not send it upstairs?

To do that to your body day in, day out from Jimmy Anderson is amazing. 181 Test matches is some effort. You've also got Stuart Broad doing the same as well.

  16. Aus 198-2published at 54 overs

Marnus Labuschagne is very late to withdraw his bat to the first ball of Jimmy Anderson's over. The ball whistles through to Jonny Bairstow and I fancy that's another play and miss.

Anderson quickly turns and marches back to his mark after dragging the next ball a bit short.

Just a single from the over but Anderson isn't looking best pleased.

Scratch that, a no-ball extends the over by a delivery. Good one to finish but Steve Smith lets it go.

Robinson doesn't mind having a chat. I don't mind that, he probably lacks a little bit of pace.

    Smith 43, Labuschagne 46

Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne take turns to pull Ollie Robinson for singles.

The second of them brings up the 100 partnership for the third wicket. It's the ninth century stand between Smith and Labuschagne in Tests.

  20. Aus 194-2published at 52.2 overs

Another big England appeal for lbw as Steve Smith leaves a ball that jags back from Ollie Robinson.

The former Australia skipper looks a little sheepish but the umpire turns down the appeal.

No review this time as Ben Stokes indicates that he thinks it was too high. Good call, ball-tracking confirms it was going over the top of off.
