England are going to get a pasting from some people and reality will set in in the morning when they read the papers.
Nowhere near the same elegance as the last over but the same result for Steve Smith as he launches Joe Root to cow corner for four.
England will be desperate for this day to be over. They've got nearly 50 minutes to go, though, and if they're out there, they might as well try to grab a couple more wickets.

They're trying to squeeze Travis Head with the field here.
We've got another 10 overs until the second new ball is available and Ben Stokes has turned to his one spin-bowling option: Joe Root.
The field is spread.
Gorgeous shot from Steve Smith.
Josh Tongue went full and the ball went very quickly through the covers for four.
Smith's enjoying himself and so are the Australian fans in the stands.

He's playing great. He's moved to 60 in 55 [balls] and Smith is on 62, he's about to go past him, that's how well he has played. There's not a great deal of movement, but let's be honest, England have made it very easy for him, they have bowled some absolute dross. They bowled short and wide when he first went out, they bowled two sides of the wicket, they've offered him nothing of any damage in terms of the short stuff. When they've bowled it short, it's been nowhere near where it should be. It's been an easy a 60 as I think you could ever wish to get in an Ashes series.
It's been mentioned here in the office that this feels more like an away Ashes series for England.
Damning stuff given how bad the last three of those have been for England.

Travis Head's 50 was the third fastest at Lord's by an Australian in Test match cricket.
Travis Head is rattling along! He's raced past 50 and only seems to be gathering momentum. Worrying for England...
Bludgeoned through extra cover by Travis Head!
The Australia left-hander piles on the pain for England with a dismissive shot to start the Broad over.
Four more! Walloped down the ground this time and even the deflection off the boot of Broad isn't enough to stop the ball reaching the boundary cushion.
The over ends with a peach of a delivery from Josh Tongue to square up and beat Steve Smith.
We've seen plenty of those kind of deliveries today from England. The problem is they've been dotted in between plenty of far less impressive deliveries.

Head's an exciting batter. He seems just to play the same way, it doesn't matter what conditions or what the game situation is, he just plays it the same.
Aus 273-3
Travis Head brings up his 15th Test fifty from just 48 balls.
He does so with a powerful pull shot. He was onto it quickly and beat the two fielders at square leg - one in front, one behind - to get to the half-century with a boundary.
As per CricViz's expected runs total, based on runs they should have scored based off balls they have faced, Australia have scored just over 38 more runs than they have been expected to.
Expected runs
David Warner - +26.8
Usman Khawaja - -11.9
Marnus Labuschagne - +1.2
Steve Smith - -0.3
Travis Head - +22.3
Total - +38.1
Shot!
Too full and Steve Smith crunches the straight drive back past Josh Tongue for four.
We've still got around an hour left in the day after those two brief rain delays and England are looking weary.
Stuart Broad is getting increasingly frustrated now.
He bowls a very full, very wide delivery that Travis Head tries to hammer through the covers. He completely misses it and Broad turns abruptly to get back to his mark.
A disdainful kick of the ball to Jimmy Anderson at mid-on sums up how he's feeling at the moment.
Still 14 overs until the second new ball. England might just get an over or two with it tonight if the light holds.
The over rate means it is unlikely to be much more than that.
England's expected wickets for the day, based on CricViz's expected wicket model. With his two wickets, Josh Tongue is the only bowler to have taken more wickets than than their expected wickets model suggests.
Jimmy Anderson - 1.4
Stuart Broad - 1.6
Ollie Robinson - 1.7
Josh Tongue - 1.5
Ben Stokes - 0.4
Joe Root - 0.1
Team total - 6.7
Smith 56, Head 44
Three short balls in a row to end Josh Tongue's over and Travis Head wants to get after them all!
The first is very well-directed but Head still flicks the bat at it as he sways clear, the next is turned away fine for four and the third wide of off and Head misses as he throws the bat at it.
Time for drinks. England need to come up with something to break this stand, and the next one and the next couple after that. And before stumps, ideally.
