To Matthew Henry, have you tried plugging the charger in and then powering up siesta seemed to work for me?

Matt - try pressing Windows key + Ctrl + Shift + B. This command usually restarts the graphics driver.

England's three wickets from pace bowling in this first innings so far have come at an average of 98.67. Their two from pace, helped by Joe Root's over last night, is just 9.5.

More debate in our radio studio this morning for the ZaltzQuiz... we're worried it might be 0.

I'm going to say 7, although that does feel a touch optimistic. Hoping to be proven wrong.

Steve Smith always looks in good touch. He is certainly not out of form and certainly when he's in form and in the runs, we all know his reputation, he'll have been shadow batting all night.
He'll probably have had 20 minutes sleep and he'll be intent on making it a painful day for England.
He is one of those men that you have to fear, he is just a very, very good batsman.

I'll say 6 but I really do hope it's higher...

Here's a reminder of Thursday's ZaltzQuiz question if you're just joining us:
Wednesday was the 105th time that England have won the toss and chosen to bowl first.
If Australia score 11 more runs, it will be the 37th time out of those 105 innings in which England have conceded at least 350 runs.
In how many of the previous 36 occasions have England gone on to win the match?

I'll reveal the answer at 10:45 BST.
I'd be happy to share, Dan.
But, Matt might struggle to reach my laptop in Manchester from Lord's!
Have you got one you can drop off for him?
Can't Matt just use your laptop, Callum? Sharing's caring and all that?

On the back of that from Andrew Strauss, let's try and think of some positives:
Is that enough?

England need early inroads with the new ball this morning.
It would be a travesty if Australia get up to 500 in the first innings here, especially with England not having a spinner for the second innings.

Is it a case of like England's energy levels yesterday - just gone into sleep mode?

Re. Matt’s Laptop: Tell it to believe in itself, to go out there and be positive… and forget about classical operating speeds.

James Anderson needs to set an example to himself and the rest of the team.
If you're Ben Stokes, who is the most positive man we've seen lead an England cricket team, you have to find a way to bring people together.
We know that England have had a very good team spirit in 12 months. Team spirit is one of those things that can go in both directions.
This is the absolute crunch. If there isn't a mini miracle today and England fight themselves back into the game then the whole mood of the Ashes will start to slide downhill.
I think Joe may have just made Matt's heart drop...

For Matt on the cricket feed, beeping and not getting as far as Windows Login screen is usually a very bad sign. The specific beep code does mean something and can be googled, but usually it is a hardware failure. Hopefully just RAM but could be the whole device

Day one wasn't really a day for BazBall, there was plenty of movement in the pitch and therefore England just needed to do the simple things well.
I don't think they did it as well as they could have done.
It felt like they were slow off the mark. It felt very subdued here yesterday surprisingly.
Australia were excellent and had a huge stomach for the fight. They earned the right to get on top of England.
But it was day one of a Test match, there is a long time to go.

I’m not sure if S Mason (9:51) was winding me up but I’ve just been gently tapping my laptop in the press box…
Former England captain Michael Vaughan says England need a big improvement on day two of the second Ashes Test at Lord's, after a "casual" first day.
He says that England need to win day two or they risk going 2-0 down in the five-match series, and "there is no coming back from that", he adds.
