This where you want to see good, body language. Positivity from England. They've got to fizz the ball around and try and make it as uncomfortable as they can for the batters.

The is a roar and a few shouts of 'come on, Jimmy!' as Anderson prepares to bowl the first over of the Australia second innings.

Very unlike Lord's but the crowd sense England need a bit of help!

No big speech from Brendon McCullum but Ben Stokes does have the England team in a huddle before leading them out.

If England can take a couple of wickets before lunch, the mood could quickly change at Lord's.

Brendon McCullum was giving Harry Brook some catching practice in that break. It doesn’t look like it was him giving any big speeches.

I know this England team may be playing a different game, but in the batter's mind, it is the same game in terms of mentality. Ben Duckett will be questioning if his method is good enough?

You're saying this might not actually be happening at all, Patrick? I like that reality...

The philosophy of Bazball goes even deeper than people realise. What is winning? What is a wicket? How do we know this match is even happening?

England went from 188-1 to 325 all out. The mathematicians among you will have worked out that means Ben Stokes' side lost their last nine wickets for 137 runs.

That's not great at the best of times but the manner of so many of those wickets is what will really rankle with England fans.

The atmosphere here is not anger. It’s just disappointment and we all know that is worse.

Giving ourselves time for a big 4th innings chase? Great tactics.

There's a sense of shock around the ground. We keep going back to that spell, how precious Test match runs and sessions are. We've all watched enough cricket, when you get in positions, it is so precious and you have to realise how precious that is and treasure it.

  13. wicket

Tongue c sub (Renshaw) b Cummins 0 (Eng 325 all out)

Short ball fended off to short leg and that'll do it.

Pat Cummins gets his wicket and England have been bounced out for 325, giving Australia a first-innings lead of 91.

No wonder the tourists look so happy. They looked under the pump for nearly 40 overs of England's innings but less than 40 overs later, they're in control again.

Pat Cummins hasn't taken a wicket yet in the innings so with one left to get, the Australia skipper pulls rank and brings himself on...

Jimmy and Broad are going to have to come out with the new ball and bowl them out cheaply. The bowlers haven't had much time off their feet. Very exciting, though. We've watched a bit of cricket haven't we?

  16. Eng 325-9published at 76 overs

Jimmy Anderson charges Travis Head first ball! He slaps it to mid-on, no run but it looks clear that this last pair aren't just going to try and hang around and pinch the odd single!

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 75.5 overs

    Broad lbw b Head 12 (Eng 325-9)

No bat involved and it's three reds on ball-tracking. Two wickets in the over for Travis Head.

One Stuart Broad missed with the sweep shot, he was in trouble.

Not much turn for Head but the ball was going on to hit leg stump.

    Here comes Jimmy Anderson...
