Stuart Broad continues to bowl short to Nathan Lyon, Lyon pulls and very nearly gets a four but Harry Brook claws it back before the rope. Good stop.
Why isn't Broad bowling full and straight? Lyon can barely move. I don't understand!

Cummins clearly doesn't think 360 is enough. Bazball in full effect!
Alastair in the Compton stand
They are scared that 360 isn’t enough…
Tim in Crewe
Are Australia scared? Putting in Lyon must be because they feel they don't have enough runs. Could be a huge mental boost for England.
Will
As if Nathan Lyon's day could not get any worse, he has just been struck in the most painful area possible by Stuart Broad...

Josh Tongue looked to Ben Stokes after the fifth ball, I think asking where he wanted him to bowl it. Stokes just pointed to his head.

360 on this wicket, knowing you've got this option up your sleeve and you will use it, it's just a bit strange isn't it?

You wonder what England will be facing when they go out against Australia's sharper attack.

Mitchell Starc is wondering why he's out here. They can't run singles.

Josh Tongue is back into the attack as Mitchell Starc pulls a short delivery round fine for four.
That is Australia's best option of scoring right now.
Nathan Lyon will be on strike facing Stuart Broad next over.

There are people in the crowd doing Marnus Labuschagne shouts of “no run” when Starc smacks it into the deep but turns down a single. Others are booing but they can’t expect Lyon to hop down to the other end again?
This was the reward for Ben Stokes, who bowled a mammoth spell this afternoon.

That is unbelievable fielding from Rehan Ahmed, it is four meters over the boundary rope.
OH MY WORD! That is the most incredible piece of fielding I have seen in a long time!
Mitchell Starc has pummelled the ball towards the square leg boundary and Rehan Ahmed has somehow clawed the ball back at full stretch to prevent the six.
Meanwhile Nathan Lyon ran a single and pulled up in obvious pain.
What is going on?!
Okay, Mitchell Starc is ready to resume with a new helmet.

Risking further injury to Lyon when you've already got a good 100 runs more than you need is probably Australia's first bad decision in this series.
Chris
Lyon coming out here feels like a boxer who should be saved by his corner. That Aussie dressing room should know better.
Lee, Camberley
Aussies have missed a trick here, declare and get a mini session at England before tea. The way it's going well be going straight to tea with about 5 extra runs on the total.
Jack
Mitchell Starc is hit on the helmet as he attempts a pull. The ball falls into a yawning gap on the leg side but Australia, wisely given Nathan Lyon has one leg, decide against the run.
There will be a break in play as Starc has a concussion check.

Do we think Jonny Bairstow will pick Nathan Lyon up and carry him off when this innings does end?
This was how Pat Cummins went. From the short ball, surprisingly enough.

Cricket never ceases to amaze me. This is absolute madness. We've seen more than two hours of bouncers, both sides are happy going absolutely nowhere. Surely Starc has to have a swing?
