Can someone please buy the Australian toilet lady (12:28) a few beers for her to down quickly?

  2. Aus 213-5published at 72 overs

    Lead by 304

With the in-out field, Cameron Green is able to take on Stuart Broad's bumper and pull it away for four.

That quickly leads to a reversion to the all-out bouncer field so the next time Green tries the shot, he only gets one.

The reaction of the England players suggests it wasn't far away from one of the fielders in the ring either.

  4. Aus 208-5published at 71 overs

Jimmy Anderson clearly agrees. He does go to the bumpers. It's not really what he's about but that looks to be the way to go on this surface!

Nothing doing in this over, though, with Alex Carey ducking three balls in a row.

  5. Aus 208-5published at 70.2 overs

Too full from Jimmy Anderson, it's a half-volley really and Alex Carey drills it down the ground for four.

Get back to the short stuff, I reckon...

Jonny Bairstow is like Peter Shilton. That short ball tactic seems to be the best way to prize a wicket and stop the scoring. The amount of people who have just succumbed to it has been extraordinary.

Change of bowling and a change of approach for England.

Jimmy Anderson is back on and he's got a far more conventional field as he prepares to bowl to Alex Carey.

The runs have dried up here. England are building pressure. The scoreboard is not really ticking over. Australia need to find a way to score.

  10. Aus 202-5published at 70 overs

With Cameron Green refusing to engage with the short stuff, Stuart Broad reverts to a more conventional approach.

A couple of fielders stay out on the hook but there is now a slip, a gully and a leg slip in place, too. Still no attacking intent from Green. Maiden.

A reminder that lunch will be taken at 13:20 BST today, 20 minutes later than usual, as they try to make up for the time lost to rain yesterday evening.

    Aus 202-5published at 69 overs

Cameron Green is finally off the mark, tucking the 15th ball he's faced in the innings to square leg for one.

That brings Alex Carey on strike and he has duck out of the way of a bouncer while in mid-air after Josh Tongue delivery's leapt up at him.

The next ball is more what the left-hander wants, not so much bounce, outside off and cut away for four.

Wickets are falling and wickets are up for grabs. It just gets your energy levels up a little bit.

England are doing all they can to claw their way back into this match.

Australia are five down and the lead is not yet 300. There is a long way to go yet!

Good question. There was a very deliberate point in the direct of the pavilion after he took that catch.

Ollie Pope maybe? He'd normally be in that short leg position.

I wonder who Joe Root was pointing at in the dressing after that catch there.

What a Test match. I know we gave England a hard time with how they batted, but the short ball is working.

It's not easy to get the pace of the ball, you are getting in two minds and off Travis Head, he got caught in two minds. Still a long way to go, but you never know your luck.

    Brilliant catch at short leg!

Travis Head didn't want to take on the short ball from Stuart Broad, tries to fend it off and Joe Root takes a superb one-handed catch diving to his left.

Three wickets fall to the short ball in quick succession. Where have we seen that before?
