Australia dropped five catches and missed a run out, they created 16 chances. Is it good bowling or the way England have batted? Pat Cummins bowled really well, we saw contrasting styles today.

Australia close on 61-1, a deficit of 22.

    A maiden from James Anderson.

That gives us time for one more Stuart Broad over.

Stuart Broad is trying to get the ball changed again.

    We're getting a bit closer.

The ball does slightly hold in the mechanism this time, but Joel Wilson again says "get on with it".

Broad chunters to himself as he walks back to his mark.

    Runs. Runs. Runs. How exciting.

Marnus Labuschagne nudges a single behind square, before Usman Khawaja drives an over-pitched delivery to the boundary.

When you are a bowling team, you talk about partnerships. If you get maidens at one end and flogged at the other, it releases that pressure. You build that pressure in partnerships and four maidens in a row does that.

    Another maiden.

That is five in a row.

Phil Salt has brought up a 74-ball century with a six for Lancashire against Northamptonshire.

Could he be a future England Test wicketkeeper or batter? That's pretty Bazball.

Remarkably that game is being played on the same pitch as last week's Test but we've had scores of 342 and now Lancashire have passed 400 only four down.

England may not have found wrapping up victory quite as easy as we all thought.

You look silly if you leave one and it knocks off your off pole at this time of the day, but in general Marnus Labuschagne's judgement is good as a rule.

  18. Aus 50-1published at 20 overs

James Anderson starts with a maiden. Australia haven't scored a run off the bat for four overs.

There's a couple of tight leaves from Marnus Labuschagne but he's judging the length well at the moment.
