Alex Carey is booed out onto the field. He must be getting used to that by now.
The left-hander sees off the last couple of balls of the over but it's a good one for England and Jimmy Anderson.
Anderson is 10 away from 700 Tests wickets. There are still 15 for England to get in this match... No? Fair enough.

They celebrated there as if Jimmy took his 700th. Anderson has bowled really well today and you never know, it may lead to a flurry.

Look at Jimmy Anderson's smile.
If you're not smiling too you're heartless.
The crowd bursts into a rendition of his song.

Jimmy Anderson has got one and there is a look of relief there.
Marsh b Anderson 16 (Aus 151-5)
BOWLED 'IM!
Jimmy Anderson has his wicket and it's a big one - Mitch Marsh is gone.
There had been a bit of nip and swing for Anderson and maybe that causes the indecision from Marsh.
The ball did very little but Marsh prodded tentatively outside off and the ball ricocheted off his inside edge and cannoned into leg stump!
It's a double bowling change. Jimmy Anderson is back into the attack, hoping to find some of that swing we've seen since lunch.
Marsh 16, Smith 24
Four from Joe Root's first over. It's a tidy one bar one delivery that looks to slip out of his hand and down leg.
Steve Smith just about catches up with it and hits it fine for two.
The ball might be swinging more than it has in this match but Ben Stokes wants to see a bit of spin.
Here comes Joe Root.

The ball in this session has swung twice as much as it did yesterday and the most it has in this series since Lord's.
Another bruising shot from Mitch Marsh in that last over after he launched Stuart Broad for six now long ago...

Belted back down the ground for four by Mitch Marsh to end the over. It's another superb shot from the big all-rounder.

We've had all sorts of lengths bowled in this Test, but Broad has stuck at the same orthodox and traditional length.
Just a couple of singles from Stuart Broad's latest.
The floodlights are still on but it is looking that bit brighter now at The Oval. There is still some movement to assist the seamers, though.
How good is this set-up from Stuart Broad to end Usman Khawaja's vigil?

The crowd is more into this Test now than they have been at any time previously. There are ooohs and ahhhs as Chris Woakes beats the bat.
Stuart Broad has been responding to some shouts of encouragement from the crowd down in front of the press box.
Maiden over from Chris Woakes - and a good one from the England seamer.
Steve Smith was beaten twice in a row. The first nipped away off the seam to beat the edge, the next swings late to beat it again.
Close but Smith survives and you'd think he remains the key wicket.

Stuart Broad has become the first bowler to reach 20 wickets in this series. It's the fifth Ashes series where he has taken 20 or more wickets. Only Shane Warne has done that in more series, doing it six times.
Broad has taken 20 or more in the last four Ashes series in England, plus the 2013-14 series in Australia. Players who have taken 20 or more in four series are Glenn McGrath, Dennis Lillee, and the great 1930s spinner Bill O'Reilly.
For England, four players have three 20 wicket Ashes series, Broad now has five. The English bowlers to do it three times are Ian Botham and Bob Willis, before that, Bobby Peel and Tom Richardson.
Here is the second of Stuart Broad's two wickets since lunch. A beauty to get a feather of an edge from Travis Head through to Jonny Bairstow...
The end of an entertaining over and we've just seen the ball-tracking of that lbw appeal against Mitch Marsh.
It was straight enough but just a touch too high. Umpire's call. It would've stayed with the not out decision even if England had gone upstairs.
