Excellent series. For all the criticism of England’s approach and some of the naysayers pointing out Australia’s supposed superiority in every department, England have arguably been the better side in all five Tests and came within some heavy rainfall of pulling off a 3-2. Looking at the series overall, it’s a definite tick in the box for Bazball.

It had to be Stuart Broad, it just had to be.
That's why chasing such a big total is so hard. The crowd was right behind England, you just felt like they had that edge.
Just as an aside. The three players involved in that final wicket: Alex Carey, Stuart Broad and Jonny Bairstow...
If only it had been a stumping.
One final Stuart Broad celebration.

Six from the final ball he faced ... wicket with the final ball he bowled. Thank you Stuart Broad. Legend.

There's a lady behind me in tears.
Absolutely incredible way to finish one of the greatest Test match series you could ever wish to see!
Stuart Broad - forever the man for the big occasion - does it one last time for England.
I've got to admit I'm feeling quite emotional and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Typical Broad, round the wicket to a left-hander. If you were going to describe this morning how Broad was going to get a wicket you would have said just that.
Fairytales can happen. An incredible crowd, a brilliant series. This has been absolutely incredible, it's had everything.

A DREAM FINALE! An absolutely brilliant finish.

IT HAD TO BE! Stuart Broad signs off a remarkable Test career with the match-clinching wicket in an Ashes victory at The Oval!
England level the series at 2-2.

Think I'm feeling a spot of rain at the Oval... okay, you got me, the tears are flowing after that wicket

The whole Broad family are gathered outside on the balcony.
Need another 50 to win
Nicely played by Josh Hazlewood, going back and punching through the covers for four.
He sees out the rest of the over. Back over to Stuart Broad.

"Come on Mo" someone shouts.
An interesting tid-bit for for you: Josh Hazlewood is the only player in the Australia team that Stuart Broad has never got out.
Now would be a nice time to change that.
Moeen Ali will have a go first, though.

The full ground has just got to its feet for no apparent reason.
A few people are messaging us asking how long we can go on for.
There are a minimum of 20 overs left.
The final hour will start when there are 15 overs left. England can bowl more than 15 in that hour if they are quick.
There's no scheduled end time on the final day, as long as the weather and light holds out.
