Here is that fantastic delivery from Mitchell Starc to dismiss Virat Kohli.

  2. Ind 83-4published at 21 overs

It has been a nervy start from Ravindra Jadeja but that will make him feel better. He plays a lovely on drive straight down the ground for four.

Mitchell Starc ends the over with a rather optimistic lbw shout, but it looked to be straying down leg.

India still trail by a hefty 386.

India's top four all made double figures but none made more than 15.

That has never happened in Test cricket before.

England should be worried about Boland. And the problem they have is if he's not in the side, then Hazlewood is.

It must've pitched outside leg. That's the only thing that could've saved Jadeja.

Oh, it was a no-ball anyway.

  6. Ind 79-4published at 20 overs

Ravindra Jadeja gets away with another one as he looks to fend off Pat Cummins into the on side, but finds the leading edge and the ball loops into a gap in the other direction.

Cummins then smacks into Jadeja's pads and appeals vociferously - but the umpire says no.

This feels like one of those spells where anything can happen. India really hanging on.

  7. Ind 72-4published at 18.5 overs

    Nearly another wicket!

Starc bangs another one in and finds Ravindra Jadeja's leading edge, but the ball squirts clear of two fielders in the off side and lands safely.

Jadeja had absolutely no idea where that was going.

That is an absolute steamer of a delivery. It looks like it has hit Virat on the thumb.

    What a delivery that is.

There was nothing Kohli could have done.

It was an unplayable ball. It took off.

Huge wicket! That is a vicious delivery from Mitchell Starc.

He gets one to leap up at Virat Kohli, who gloves it through to Steve Smith, who takes a fine catch leaping into the air at second slip.

Australia are jubilant. India are in all sorts of trouble

Every time the bowler has attacked the stumps in this match so far they have looked dangerous.

  12. Aus 71-3published at 18 overs

The first delivery from Pat Cummins with the replacement ball is pulled away for four by Ajinkya Rahane.

Cummins responds with a fine ball that nips back and escapes between Rahane's inside edge and thigh pad.

Good response from the Aussie skipper.

Ball change klaxon! Australia are not happy with the cherry. The umpires take a closer look and it fails to go through one of the metal rings, prompting a box of replacements to be brought on.

From the sublime to the ridiculous. It was an eventful spell at the crease for Cheteshwar Pujara.

  15. Ind 67-3published at 17 overs

Mitchell Starc goes full and wide outside off stump first up. Virat Kohli is not going to turn that opportunity down and clatters the ball through the off side for four.

    Absolutely textbook.

Meanwhile, the Mexican wave has finally started - a lot later in the day than it did yesterday.

Good thing we have openers who only leave one in 100 balls. This won't happen to them!

  18. Ind 61-3published at 16 overs

That's a good shot from Ajinkya Rahane, who steps forward and drives through the covers for three runs. Virat Kohli then pushes for a quick single with a dab into the off side.

There's a change at the other end as Mitchell Starc returns.

Australia looking to crank up the pressure still further.

Scott Boland offers up a short and wide delivery to Ajinkya Rahane, who swipes the ball over the slip fielders and away for four.

India will take all they can get at the moment.
