    Leicestershire started tonight’s round of fixtures bottom of the North Group but they’ve got their second win of the competition, thanks to Rishi Patel’s superb 45-ball century.

    Durham made 172-4 and then took a wicket in the first over of Leicestershire’s reply, but a second-wicket partnership of 149 between Patel and Lewis Hill (54 not out) led the Foxes to a six-wicket win with 14 balls to spare.

    The Bears are almost there as Hasan Ali bowls Freddie Heldreich with the final ball of the penultimate over.

    Northants need 43 from six balls - barring a flurry of no-balls and wides by Craig Miles, that is impossible.

    That is a huge hit by Kashif Ali, who pounds leg-spinner Jafer Chohan straight down the ground for six.

    The next is stroked through the covers for four and Kashif is 16 not out, with Ben Cox on 20.

    Worcestershire need 77 from 30 balls. A very tall order.

    Saif Zaib tries to sweep Moeen Ali but is bowled behind his legs by the Bears spinner, who ends his four overs with 3-16.

    AJ Tye drills through mid-off for four off Hasan Ali at the start of the next, but it may be too little, too late now for the Steelbacks.

    Daniel Bell-Drummond moves onto 82 not out with a slog sweep for six off Liam Dawson, and he's within sight of a second T20 hundred.

    Mason Crane gets Joe Denly stumped for 41, but Kent remain on course of victory - 28 needed off 29 balls.

    In the next over Danny Lamb is caught at long off by Sean Dickson as Roelof van der Merwe takes his third wicket.

    And in the next over - the 16th - Matthew Taylor falls to Bashir.

    The hosts are running out of batters.

    Two Essex fielders converge on the ball as Colin Ingram gets too far underneath a pull shot but in the end it is Matt Critchley who takes the catch safely to end the South African's 21-ball cameo.

    An important wicket for Shane Snater and it brings Callum Taylor to the crease.

    You don't often see Sam Cook coming in for heavy punishment, but he won't have enjoyed that over.

    Colin Ingram pulls fine for four, then drives over cover for another.

    Cook responds by digging one in and Ingram repeats his earlier pull shot, this time for a maximum.

    He is 47 not out from just 19 balls.

    Oh dear, it's all started to go wrong for Gloucestershire.

    It's Roelof van der Merwe who does the damage on this occasion as he takes out danger man Miles Hammond and Jack Taylor in the space of three balls.

    Hammond hit 61 from 34 and it's clearly a big blow to lose him.

    It wasn't long ago that the hosts lost two wickets in two balls - they are losing wickets in quick succession at present and need a partnership.

    Kent's second-wicket stand between Daniel Bell-Drummond and Joe Denly is up to 81 and the hosts need 38 to win from the final six overs.
