  1. Derbyshire to bowl firstpublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Lancashire 0-0 v Derbyshire

We are ready for cricket at Old Trafford where Derbyshire have elected to bowl first.

It is perhaps not a surprise as we may have more rain, so the Falcons can use DLS to know exactly what they may need.

Remember, this is going to be 15 overs per side, with a powerplay of four overs.

Kent’s total of 228-3 against Middlesex is exactly the same as in their previous match against the same opponents last Friday.

    Kent 228-3 v Middlesex (20 overs)

    Matt Cole

You just feel this is going to be a match-winning total at this halfway stage. Kent have batted very, very nicely.

  4. wicket

    WICKET Mousley c D'Oliveira b Tongue 51published at 19:50 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Bears 206-4 v Worcs

One ball after reaching his 50, Dan Mousley holes out at long-off.

Jacob Bethell joins Chris Benjamin for the final eight balls of the innings.

  5. MIDDLESEX NEED 229 TO BEAT KENTpublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Kent 228-3 (20 overs) v Middlesex

What a lovely little cameo from Kent captain Sam Billings.

He races to 23 off only seven balls to bring up another big Kent score and smashes 22 off Martin Andersson's final over.

Of course Middlesex scored 254 to beat Surrey last night, so this should be a breeze, right?

Surely Middlesex can't chase down 200-plus two nights in a row?

for Dan Mousleypublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Bears 206-3 v Worcs

The perfect way to do it as Dan Mousley reaches 24-ball half-century with six off Josh Tongue, struck powerfully over mid-on after he moved right across his stumps to the off-side. It's his fourth maximum of the innings.

    Durham v Yorkshire 49-1 (8.1 overs)

    Still raining at the Riverside.

As a neutral, while strictly speaking, it was out, I'm disappointed Somerset appealed there. Henry clearly stopped him getting in.

  9. Bears total reaches 200published at 19:46 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Bears 200-3 v Worcs

A single to Dan Mousley from the penultimate ball of the 18th over, bowled by Mitch Santner and the Bears reach 200.

That is a decent over, though, with just five runs from it.

    Somerset v Gloucestershire 169-7

There was a bit of controversy about Gloucestershire opener Grant Roelofsen's earlier run out.

Matt Henry appeared to impede him between the wickets.

  11. GLAMORGAN NEED 183 TO BEAT SUSSEXpublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Glamorgan v Sussex 182-6 (20 overs)

Shadab Khan finishes 87 not out from 53 balls and he has really done a good job for Sussex.

The Pakistan all-rounder came to the crease with the innings in a mess at 44-4, but he stepped on the gas at the right time to put on 58 with Michael Burgess and 78 with James Coles.

Glamorgan will have to work hard to score at more than nine an over to win this.

    Leics v Northants 191-3 (18.2 overs)

Chris Lynn's stay ends at 35 balls.

But what damage he's done taking his side up towards 200.

Can Leicestershire limit the damage in the final 10 balls?

    Bears 195-3 v Worcs

Another ramp for four by Chris Benjamin and then Dan Mousley is down the track to smash Dillon Pennington over mid-off for a low-flying six.

No lack of elevation from the next ball, though, as he goes down one knee and sweeps it away to fine leg for another maximum.

Three overs to come and Mousley is 40 not out.

  14. wicket

WICKET Lawrence st McDermott b Dawson 70published at 19:43 British Summer Time 23 June 2023

    Hants v Essex 128-1 (10.1 overs)

Blessed relief for Hampshire as Liam Dawson strikes.

A 33-ball knock from Dan Lawrence.

Joe Denly falls and Middlesex are doing what they did last night in taking wickets to put the brakes on the score they will have to chase.

Sam Billings has nine balls to make an impact.

    Glamorgan v Sussex 161-5 (18 overs)

This is a fine recovery for Sussex from Shadab Khan and James Coles.

They have put on 59 off 28 balls and will fancy plenty more off the last two overs.

Shadab has now moved up to 70 not out.

  17. 50 runs

    Leics v Northants 179-2 (17.3 overs)

    Wow.

Back to back sizes from Saif Zaib off Matt Salisbury and he goes to fifty in just 22 balls!

    Northants now looking towards 220.

    Bears 173-3 v Worcs

Has he been watching Joe Root? Chris Benjamin plays a perfect ramp shot to collect four at the start of Pat Brown's over.

A single brings Dan Mousley onto strike and three successive fours follow, though he didn't know a lot about the second.

Brown saw him coming and dropped it short, but Mousley somehow managed to scoop it over the keeper even though he wasn't looking at the ball when he made contact.

    Kent 189-2 (17.1 overs) v Middlesex

Daniel Bell-Drummond falls one run short of equalling his T20 Blast highest score.

A pity, but he gets a deserved standing ovation from the Canterbury crowd, who acknowledge this fine 58-ball innings.

    Hants v Essex 104-0 (8.2 overs)

The onslaught continues from Feroze Khushi - who's gone to a 26-ball fifty - and Dan Lawrence - who reaches his own half-century a ball quicker.

No answer from champions Hampshire at the moment.

They're being blazed all over Botley.
