If England are to chase this down it will be the first time a side has chased 200 or more to win a T20 international in this country.
It will be England's third-highest chase and the third-highest against New Zealand.
Of the six T20 internationals played at Edgbaston, they have all been won by the side batting first.
A solid start from England, though we have yet to see some real fireworks.
England's tough target is largely down to Finn Allen's excellent 83 and you can see the best bits of his innings below.
Jonny Bairstow pushes a single off the first ball to bring Will Jacks on strike, and he caresses his first ball through backward point for four with a lovely delicate cut shot.
Jacks showing T20 batting is not all about raw power.
New Zealand skipper Tim Southee will open the bowling.
Here we go...

The World Cup is going to be hard, it certainly won't be plain sailing.
We were firm favourites in 2019 but you're coming up against some serious teams in the tournament. We had a few hiccups along the way and that was in home conditions.
We're not going to go to India and win nine group games from nine and I'm sure there will be a few games where we don't get it quite right, that is the nature of the game.
It is about peaking at the right time, and if you get to the knockout stages that you're on and you give that your full attention.
Thanks, Mike.
The New Zealand look pretty confident as they stride out at a sunny Edgbaston.
For the first time this series England are under a bit of pressure. Openers Wil Jacks and Jonny Bairstow will have to get off to a fast start.
New Zealand are ready to get going, they're back on the field already.
Will Jacks and Jonny Bairstow make their way down the steps. Here's Tom Mallows to take you through this difficult England chase.

You soon move on in this game. It is easy to forget what has just been and focus on what is coming next.
The chance to go to India and hopefully defend a World Cup is what it is all about.
It is a great opportunity to go there and do something special again.

I was very much ready for the Ashes to end when it did. I was physically and mentally drained but it was a great series to be a part of.
It hasn't overly sunk in how it all unfolded. I just had to bide my time and thankfully I took my opportunity.
Moments like hitting the winning runs at Headingley still hasn't sunk in. Those are the moments you look back on for years to come. It was incredible to be out there. I had a small feeling of what it felt like to be Ben Stokes in 2019. It was pretty special.

Finn Allen likes to go hard from the off but he struggled at the start. But he showed that if you can weather the storm and stick around as long a possible then you can get those big scores.

Well, I don't know about you but I'm in need of a bit of a breather.
That was a fine innings from New Zealand, accumulating steadily with the occasional big blow, before accelerating with some real fireworks late on. They lost wickets periodically, but each batter could enter with confidence.
Liam Livingstone in particular came in for some punishment, going for 55 runs from his four overs. Gus Atkinson impressed again, taking 2-31.

That total feels significant. New Zealand struggled to get going early but then, surprisingly on this pitch, the spin of England disappeared.
That should be excellent score on this pitch. New Zealand have given themselves a chance. It feels like a match-winning score.

This is New Zealand's highest T20 score against England, beating the 201-4 they scored at The Oval in 2013.
Stephen Fleming
Former New Zealand captain on BBC One
There has been a real structure around the way New Zealand have batted.
It helps when someone goes big a the top of the order because then everything falls into place lower down and everyone can perform their roles.
Nope, Chapman makes it back for two, having pushed the ball into the leg-side.
Buttler collected the ball wide and swung back through the stumps, but the New Zealand batter was home.
A run-out perhaps from the final delivery?
Big swing from Chapman at the free-hit but there's no run there.
An over-step from Jordan and the no-ball brings up the New Zealand 200.
