  1. Post update

That's all from us here, but you can watch highlights from today on BBC Two and iPlayer from 23:15 BST tonight.

And why not treat yourselves to Stephan Shemilt's match report while you wait?

We'll be back tomorrow tomorrow as England's women conclude their summer with the final ODI against Sri Lanka, which starts 12:30 BST - join us then!

  2. 'We were thoroughly outplayed'

New Zealand captain Tom Latham at the post-match presentation: "The way Stokes and Dawid played, they were fantastic. We tried to change things up, but they countered everything we threw at them.

"We did pull it back at the end of the innings but then we were 40-4, and we couldn't get any partnerships together. We knew we were going to have to bat well to get there but we had our backs against the wall early.

"The ball was moving through the air and off the pitch early on in our innings, it was tough and we weren't able to withstand that.

"It's not concerning for us. When someone gets 180, full credit to him. We have a lot to learn, and we will reflect on that.

"We definitely weren't trying to just bat it out. Glenn showed that it was a good wicket to bat on, but we were thoroughly outplayed - but we have a big opportunity to level the series at Lord's."

  3. Post update

The victory means England take a 2-1 series lead and will look to make it 3-1 with the final game on Friday.

There have been three very one-sided games so far, similar to the T20 series that preceded this.

Hopefully the summer can end with a more exciting finish at Lord's.

  4. 'Ben Stokes' 182 was amazing'

England captain Jos Buttler to BBC's Test Match Special: "We were tested losing two early wickets but it's exactly what I wanted us to do, take more risks, be more on the front foot.

Ben Stokes' 182: "He's played a few good ones, but that was amazing. To score the highest one day score for England, it was amazing."

Stokes and Malan partnership: "That partnership was absolutely brilliant having lost a wicket first ball and then another in the powerplay."

Feeling you left some runs out there?: "I'm not bothered at all, I absolutely welcome being bowled out for 368 and feeling like we left runs out there.

"Absolutely delighted with that, I haven't seen as good new ball bowling in white ball cricket for a while. Woakes and Topley were brilliant, it was a fantastic opening spell. They didn't allow them to get a fast start."

  5. 'Nice to contribute to a win'

Player of the match Ben Stokes at the post-match presentation: "Yeah it was really good. Coming back into the team after a while out it is always nice to contribute to a win.

"I apologised to Jason [Roy] upstairs! It was a good wicket. Conditions did change after the lights came on, it was offering a lot. It was obvious with the way Woakesy [Chris Woakes] and Toppers [Reece Topley] bowled. We spoke about putting more pressure on New Zealand and I feel like we did that today.

"It is satisfying. As an experienced player you want to go out and show the guys you can do that and it isn't just words. It doesn't always happen, we tried to do it at Southampton and it didn't quite happen. We wanted to put more and more on them. Putting the pressure back on them and making them go away from plan A quicker was something we wanted to do."

  6. Post update

Chris Woakes then did what Chris Woakes does best.

His three early scalps had New Zealand under pressure early, and they never recovered.

  7. Post update

Dawid Malan also continued his magnificent run in ODI cricket, falling unfortunately short of his century on 96.

The wicket looked like an absolute road when those two were batting on it.

  8. Post update

The dominance was set up by Ben Stokes' heroics.

He smashed 182, leading a remarkable recovery from 13-2 with Dawid Malan.

It was brutal brilliance from England's star man.

  9. How's stat?!

    Andy Zaltzman

Cricket statistician on Test Match Special

The 181-run margin is the eighth highest for England in ODI cricket. It is also Liam Livingstone's best figures in all List A ODI cricket.

  10. England win by 181 runs

Livingstone has three, and wraps up an utterly dominant performance from England!

Ben Lister takes a huge swing, misses, and Jos Buttler does the rest.

New Zealand are bowled out for 187, with Glenn Phillips the only batter to contribute with his 72.

  11. NZ 186-9

Here is the first of those Livingstone wickets, as not much comes from Reece Topley's latest over other than a swipe down the ground for two for Ben Lister.

  12. NZ 182-9

Liam Livingstone is getting through some handy pre-World Cup overs, adding two wickets to his name as well.

Ben Lister is in at 11 for New Zealand.

Moeen Ali ruins the fun, no more Boult.

  14. WICKET

    Boult c Moeen b Livingstone 2 (NZ 181-9)

    It's not to be!

A skip, a swing, a swipe and Trent Boult is caught at cover by Moeen Ali, holding on to a good catch running backwards.

    England are one wicket away.

    Andy Zaltzman

Cricket statistician on Test Match Special

We've had 11 wickets by left-arm seamers today. It's the second most by left-arm seamers in an ODI in England. The record is 13 when Pakistan played Bangladesh in the 2019 World Cup where Shaheen Shah Afridi took 6-35.

  16. NZ 179-8

"Woah, no!" cries the always entertaining Trent Boult as he fends off a Reece Topley short ball.

This game could really do with some Trent Boult theatrics, to be honest.

  17. Post update

    Jeremy Coney

Former New Zealand captain on BBC Test Match Special

Trent Boult will have a whack, he is good fun to watch.

  18. NZ 176-8

England edge closer to victory with a two wickets in the past two overs - Reece Topley taking the first to get rid of Kyle Jamieson.

  19. WICKET

    Phillips lbw b Livingstone 72 (NZ 173-8)

    Gone this time!

No-one thought this was out, apart from Livingstone, who had to really convince Jos Buttler for a review.

It's very short and Phillips tries to whack it leg-side but is struck in front.

A handy knock for him though, getting some time in the middle before the World Cup.

  20. Post update

    Daniel Norcross

Commentator on BBC Test Match Special

It's all a bit of a laugh really.
