    Let's try again.

This one's given not out, so England review it.

  2. Not outpublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 13 September 2023

    Hmmm.

It's not particularly clear but it's given not out, with the TV umpire adjudging the ball was trapped between bat and pad.

  3. NZ reviewpublished at 34.1 overs

Glenn Phillips is given out lbw to Liam Livingstone - but he reviews it straight away.

He must know he's nicked it?

Before the over started, Livingstone kindly tied Lockie Ferguson's shoelaces for him. A lovely act of sportsmanship.

Topley has been really impressive in the last couple of games, great from him.

Topley has bowled well today, that was easily taken by Buttler.

    Jamieson c Buttler b Topley 14 (NZ 173-7)

    Breakthrough!

Kyle Jamieson's 25-ball stay at the crease comes to an end as he edges behind to Jos Buttler after a big, and Topley continues to impress.

He'll also be much happier now given that earlier in the over, Buttler missed one that went on to his his helmet stationed behind him, and gifted five penalty runs.

  7. 6 runs

    NZ 166-6published at 33 overs

    Oh, now that is big!

Glenn Phillips has had enough of the singles and blasts Moeen Ali into the stands for six.

  8. How's stat?!published at 19:22 British Summer Time 13 September 2023

Glenn Phillips (69*) now has his best ever score in an ODI international. His previous best was 63* against Pakistan in January.

Here's something to talk about, Glenn Phillips reaching his half-century.

  10. NZ 151-6published at 31 overs

Eight off the over as Glenn Phillips laces away another four.

There's not much else to say other than, they're just still batting.

You can go out there, try and play a few shots but you know what is going to happen whatever you do.

  12. Postpublished at 19:15 British Summer Time 13 September 2023

Thanks, Callum. It's all just ticking along very sedately at the moment.

Glenn Phillips is batting nicely in what is essentially just a glorified pre-World Cup net. He is a destructive cricketer but it's going to take something very, very special for New Zealand to reach this target.

  13. NZ 143-6published at 30 overs

    Target 369

A change for England as Liam Livingstone comes into the attack for Moeen Ali.

New Zealand work him around for four singles. They need 226 from the final 20 overs.

Ffion Wynne is coming back to talk you through those.

Want to watch Glenn Phillips hit Moeen Ali for six?

    You're in luck.

  15. NZ 139-6published at 29 overs

    Target 369

Eight off Sam Curran's latest over. I suspect he'll be used as a middle-over option for England in the World Cup so this is good exposure for him, and Jos Buttler will be learning.

Admittedly he's not under the pressure he might be in some World Cup games.

  16. 50 runs

50 for Phillipspublished at 28.3 overs

    NZ 137-6

Glenn Phillips has been excellent for New Zealand across these two white-ball series.

He brings up his half-century with a beautiful cover drive that races away off the square.

  17. NZ 131-6published at 28 overs

    Target 369

Cries of "catchhh itttt" as Kyle Jamieson pops up a Sam Curran slower ball towards Moeen Ali at mid-off.

Moeen is unable to get his feet moving quickly enough though and it drops comfortably short in the end.

  18. Postpublished at 19:02 British Summer Time 13 September 2023

Here's how Moeen Ali bowled Rachin Ravindra for his first wicket.

  19. Not outpublished at 27 overs

    NZ 128-6

Kyle Jamieson's foot did momentarily leave the crease, and was then up in the air, but he gets it back in and down before Jos Buttler is able to take the bails.

    On we go.

  20. Umpire reviewpublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 13 September 2023

    NZ 128-6

Good glovework from Jos Buttler as he attempts to stump Kyle Jamieson.

England aren't excited by it at all, but square umpire Alex Wharf opts to take a look anyway.
