It's at hard at this sort of stage when you are the bowling side. At the moment, Campher has come in and done a job.
Curtis Campher into the attack the all-rounder's medium pace keeps both Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett in check. Three singles off the over.
Crawley has played more classically since England's brutal assault in the opening partnership between Phil Salt and Will Jacks as the four below in the clip below emphasises.
He and Ben Duckett will both have half an eye on a big score for themselves here.
Another half chance for Ireland as Ben Duckett top edges a pull shot off Mark Adair over the wicketkeeper's head.
Ireland gloveman Lorcan Tucker turns and scampers back but the ball thuds into the turf.

The run rate is looking healthy, there was a bit of lull but is starting to come back up again. They should be looking at a big 300/400.
Flags are fluttering now as the breeze picks up at County Ground.
Ben Duckett also starts to find some rhythm as he steps across his stumps and wristly flicks Mark Adair for four into the leg side.

Crawley is having some fun out there, this is the sort of form England will have wanted to see. Back-to-back boundaries for the captain.

It is mature batting from Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett. Maybe less experienced players might have got caught up in the momentum. You often hear that about partnerships in Test cricket with the non-striker not finding their tempo. This is a good tempo and innings and it is working for them.
That's more like it from Zak Crawley as he finds the middle of the bat.
England's captain for this series picks up the length of Barry McCarthy's fifth ball and launches it down the ground over the rope.
A big hit over the sightscreen.
Zak Crawley's timing is still not quite there. He chips Barry McCarthy's first ball over the head of mid-on and the ball trickles to the boundary for another four.
The same cannot quite be said for Phil Salt, who was seeing it like a football, beach ball, medicine ball. Delete as applicable.
Craig Young continues for Ireland. He has 2-17 off 4.3 which, in the context of this score, are remarkable bowling figures.
Here's how he accounted for Will Jacks a little while ago.

The 107-2 off 10 overs was the second highest by a team at the end of the powerplay in an ODI. The highest was the West Indies, scoring 114-0 against India.
Zak Crawley, that familiar bouncing of his bat as he stands with his wrists cocked at the crease, happy to continue to accumulate for the time being.
England's captain breaks the shackles off the penultimate ball of Barry McCarthy's over, though, and drives the Irish seamer down the ground for four. Not quite timed by Crawley, but he's got enough on it.
Clever trundling from Craig Young, who almost induces a false stroke from Ben Duckett.
The England left-hander decides to withdraw from a pull shot to Young off the final ball of the over as he's caught in two minds.
Duckett and Zak Crawley pick up three singles off the over.
The heart rates of the Ireland team have dropped, the adrenaline of the crowd has petered out. Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett are approaching this in a more methodical fashion.
Play your own game, I suppose.
Here's one of Phil Salt's sixes from a while ago. It brought up his his third half-century for England.

Again, it's a very, very lively start from England. England now have two fresh batters at the crease so Ireland have took at this almost as a fresh match and starting again.
Ireland have two slips in place as Barry McCarthy bowls to Ben Duckett.
Meanwhile, here's some explosive hitting from Will Jacks from a little earlier as he took back-to-back sixes off Josh Little.
And you'll see the bell ringer of the County Ground giving it the big 'un after boundary.
So, England's Ashes opening pair are reunited as the diminutive Ben Duckett joins Zak Crawley at the crease.
Duckett happy to see off a couple of balls from Craig Young without scoring.
A pulsating start by England. Can these two keep it up?

That is the fastest any team has reached 100 in ODI cricket in the first innings.
Previous record was nine overs which was New Zealand against West Indies in 2014.
It is the joint-fourth fastest 100 of any team batting first or second.
According to CricVinz's WinViz percentage, ranking each team's chances of winning a game, England are already at 93% to win this match.
