  1. Goodbye

That's it from us for today after another comprehensive win for New Zealand.

The Black Caps were largely overlooked coming into this tournament but they look more than capable of competing at the business end yet again.

You can read Callum Matthews' report on their 99-run win over the Netherlands here.

The World Cup action continues bright and early tomorrow as England take on Bangladesh, wanting to bounce back from defeat in the opener.

Join us from 05:45 BST for that one!

  2. 'A job well done'

New Zealand captain Tom Latham: "We would've bowled first, we tossed and turned around with it. We did a great job batting first, built partnerships at the top and the bowlers did a fantastic job tonight."

Batters needing time in the middle?: "Any time in the middle is obviously valuable, the biggest things were the partnerships we were able to build, partnership after partnership. We managed to put some big runs on in the final five overs."

Bowling efforts?: "I think the guys have bowled beautifully, we've tried to be proactive with he changes. The spinners were outstanding, Mitch bowled outstanding, it was fantastic for him to get his rewards. A job well done."

Having Lockie Ferguson back?: "It was great, he was pretty close to playing the first game. It's a long tournament, we didn't want to rush him back."

Adapting to conditions in Kolkata?: "We saw it last night in the game, every ground you go to it is about adapting. Fingers crossed, we can adapt down there."

How far are you away from having a fully-fit squad?: "We're not far away, it's great to see Kane back doing his thing. Tim is progressing nicely. Fingers crossed next game, we will be fully available."

  3. Post update

Mitchell Santner was a clear choice for player of the match but Matt Henry impressed again.

After a nice cameo with the bat, he took 3-40 with the ball - including a superb yorker to seal the win for New Zealand...

  4. 'They got away from us at the end'

Netherlands captain Scott Edwards: "I thought we pretty good for the first 47 overs and then they got away from us in the last three overs and it pushed the score a little bit further than we were hoping for.

"I was hoping we could keep them to around 280-300 when I won the toss because I do think it gets easier to bat here as the day goes on. New Zealand have a disciplined bowling attacking though and they aren't going to let that sort of total be easy for you.

"You're not going to chase 320 down with 40s, 50s and 60s. We'll speak about that with the guys and in the next couple of games we'll need to put on bigger scores and partnerships.

"There are definitely some positives. We made a few errors that we made in the last game too so we'll have to find a way to rectify them in the next seven games.

"South Africa is another game where we'll go out and try and play our best cricket."

There are about six teams vying for those four spots. I expect New Zealand to get there.

Ravindra is not a part-timer and in the evening, Santner got some dramatic turn. Yes, I think they are one quality spinner light but they are going to be there.

If you win by 99 runs and then by a million against England, it will go in your favour.

  6. 'I didn't bowl my best but got some reward'

Player of the match, New Zealand's Mitchell Santner: "Not too bad! Credit to the boys up front with the bat, they gave us a good platform.

"It was nice to get up to 320, we knew it would skid on a bit under lights but we contained them and bowled well.

"The nature of the surfaces, it was nice tonight because there was a bit of purchase. I didn't bowl my best but it was nice to get some rewards.

"They had some nice partnerships but we were able to hang in and take wickets to slow them down.

"I've been lucky to be in India for a few years now and every time you play, you bank experience on different pitches. Today it was a little bit slow and that faster pace where it held in the wicket did a job.

"I like to bat a bit so it was nice to hit a few at the end."

It was a really efficient win. There is going to be a side that will lose to the Netherlands, they are good enough with the ball and are good enough to chase down 240/250.

They are not good enough to chase down 320. As well as Netherlands bowled, New Zealand didn't give them a sniff. Like against England, New Zealand went at a good pace without going too crazy.

What a performance from New Zealand again. There are some questions, how do you get Williamson and Southee back in, but in their two games so far, they have been pretty faultless.

The Netherlands put up a good fight and bowled well but yet again, New Zealand were just too good.

Bowled him. Gone, game over. That will do. New Zealand win this game comfortably in the end.

  10. New Zealand win by 99 runs

Dutt b Henry 11 (Ned 223 all out)

Full and straight from Matt Henry to finish things off!

An excellent yorker does for Aryan Dutt and New Zealand make it two wins from two to start this World Cup.

It was never really in doubt. Despite the Netherlands' best efforts, the Black Caps were in control throughout.

A great shot from the tailender.

    Henry Moeran

That is a good shot. He had he missed, that would have sent all three stumps cartwheeling away.

  13. Ned 223-9

    Target 323

Lockie Ferguson nearly finishes it off for New Zealand.

A leading edge from Paul van Meekeren loops up invitingly but just out of reach of Ferguson.

Van Meekeren then moves across his stumps and ramps for four. That's a number 11 doing that, the game's gone...

  14. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Test Match Special

In the two games New Zealand have played, they have been dominant in both of them.

That has been astoundingly taken, a fantastic catch from Conway. Engelbrecht's debut comes to an end.

  16. WICKET

    Engelbrecht c Conway b Henry 29 (Ned 218-9)

The end is nigh for the Netherlands.

A decent knock from Sybrand Engelbrecht on debut but it comes to an end as he pulls Matt Henry out to deep square leg.

Devon Conway is out there and comes in a couple of metres to take the catch.

Nine down, one to go for New Zealand.

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Test Match Special

Santner's bowled well, he's got five and maybe could have got a couple more, but he has bowled really well.

  18. Ned 212-8

    Target 323

If you want an indication of where we're up to in this game, New Zealand currently have two slips in for Mitchell Santner.

Neither of them come into play and, after a wild swing and a miss from Aryan Dutt, Santner is done for the day.

He ends with figures of 5-59, to go with his unbeaten 36 off 17 balls with the bat.

  19. Post update

    Daniel Norcross

    BBC Test Match Special commentator

He's strappled that straight for six!

  20. Ned 209-8

    Target 323

Aryan Dutt gives the Netherlands supporters something to shout about as he deposits a drag-down from Rachin Ravindra over long on for six!
