  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 48.3 overs

    Rashid c Shanto b Mahedi 11 (Eng 352-8)

    Excellent relay catch.

Adil Rashid heaves it towards cow corner, Towhid Hridoy runs round and takes the catch before, as his momentum takes him over the rope, tossing it to Najmul Hossain Shanto.

We're so used to seeing these catches but it's still superb fielding.

  2. Eng 352-7published at 48.2 overs

That's 350 up for England as Adil Rashid whips the ball up and over short fine leg.

It's beats the half-hearted dive of the fielder in the deep.

It is all about the next game in a World Cup, you know you won't win every game, but you have to make sure you bounce back when you do suffer defeats.

  4. Eng 346-7published at 48 overs

    Lovely shot from Chris Woakes.

He flicks the ball off his pads and the ball bobbles away to deep backward square for four.

Bangladesh have not bowled their overs in time so they will have to have an extra fielder inside the ring for the last couple of overs.

Just a gentle reminder that England are 337-7, not 127-7...

Some of the players need to have a word with themselves. You need to play smart at every stage of an ODI. Chasing a wide one is pointless

  7. Eng 337-7published at 47 overs

Adil Rashid is the new batter and gets a single first ball.

England have three overs to get themselves up to 350 and beyond.

Great catch, a lot of talk about the outfield. To take a catch like that on this, you have to be fully committed. It was good bowling too, it was held back a bit, a genuine off spinner.

That was an outstanding catch, it was hit hard and not very high. It was a real skimmer, like someone throwing a frisbee and it was taken on the full stretch.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 46.4 overs

    Curran c Shanto b Mahedi 11 (Eng 334-7)

    Superb catch!

Mahedi Hasan tosses it up, Sam Curran nails the ball flat towards long off and Najmul Hossain Shanto runs around to take a very good catch.

Brilliant effort in the field as England continue to falter late in this innings.

You can see why Jos Buttler was worried about this pitch. The bowling strip isn't too bad, it's chasing on the outfield, that is what I am worried about.

  12. Eng 333-6published at 46 overs

Sam Curran ducks a bouncer to end Shoriful Islam's over. Not something yu'd expect to see at this stage of the innings.

It suggests that while England might be pleased with what they've got, they still want to make sure they're in a position to really go for it in the last couple.

Controversial opinion perhaps but Brook is great in Tests where fields are up and he can whack it about... but in a one-day internationals his strike rate has been nothing short of ordinary.

He's barely played any 50-over cricket, Richard. He'll be fine.

I'm going to say England will finish on 375. I don't think it's that easy to hit sixes. I like to live on the pessimistic side of life though.

  15. Eng 329-6published at 45 overs

Chris Woakes is out to join Sam Curran. The pair exchange singles to end the Mahedi Hasan over.

Five overs to go and you'd expect England will still finish with 350-plus.

This one was loopier and outside off stump and you could see Harry Brook's eyes light up. It is not as easy as it seems on this pitch.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 44.3 overs

    Brook c Das b Mahedi 20 (Eng 327-6)

    Another one down.

Having pulled the previous ball for four, Harry Brook tries to muscle this one to the boundary as well, miscues it and is caught at long off.

Litton Das takes a straightforward catch to give Mahedi Hasan his second wicket.

England are managing to stumble to a huge total.

Sadly 400 doesn't look on, but I'd still expect an excellent total from here.

That was elegant, I can't describe why left-handers are better to watch. In this team, Dawid Malan, Moeen Ali and Sam Curran all have beautiful cover drives.

  20. Eng 323-5published at 44 overs

Shoriful Islam manages to put together three dot balls in a row before Sam Curran unfurls a glorious cover drive.

Four more to the England total. Even after that little flurry of wickets, they're going to cruise past 350.
