  3. Eng 317-5published at 43 overs

Two boundaries in the over from Harry Brook get England moving again.

The first is drilled back down the ground before the next pulled ferociously behind square.

10 from Mustafizur Rahman's over and thoughts of 400 return...

Livingstone's off stump has been bowled. Livingstone has played down the wrong line. Bangladesh will rejoice.

There's a perfect spot on the stump, where if you hit it, regardless of how fast you are bowling, it will cartwheel.

    Livingstone b Shoriful 0 (Eng 307-5)

Bowled 'im! Two in two for Shoriful Islam!

Angled across Liam Livingstone, who just played down the wrong line, and knocks off stump out of the ground.

Good fightback from Bangladesh, although it may be coming a little too late.

Knuckle ball this time, it's just held back slightly. Joe Root threw the shot early, that added with the extra bit of kick off the surface means it goes straight up the chimney. It feels like it is too little too late for Bangladesh, the power hitters keep on coming for England.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 41.5 overs

    Root c Mushfiqur b Shoriful 82 (Eng 307-4)

Top-edge and the ball goes straight up.

Good slower ball from Shoriful Islam and Joe Root skies it as he tries to swing it over the leg side.

Mushfiqur Rahim gets underneath it behind the stumps and takes the catch.

Mustafizur feels like the one who is able to strangle the strike-rate. I do still think that even though Jos Buttler scored 20 off 10, they were brute force and not timing. This is a fantastic surface for just biffing the ball about.

  10. Eng 304-3published at 41 overs

Bangladesh are able to gather themselves after getting through an over without conceding a boundary for the first time in a while.

With nine overs left, don't expect too many more of those.

This is the kind of wicket where Joe Root really comes into his own. The big hitters and biffers work on truly flat surfaces, but this takes some nuance and skill.

A terrible throw, Brook probably would have made his ground though, he is surprisingly quick.

That's the 300 up for England with a two for Harry Brook.

It might have been tight but the throw in from the deep is woeful.

Joe Root is still there for England. He's 80 not out from 63 balls.

A reminder that he's probably the most restrained of this white-ball batting line-up...

Right then, 10 overs to go and England are just shy of 300.

They'll be aiming to be the other side of 400 by the end of this innings.

England are running Bangladesh ragged. This is just the reply Jos Buttler called for, and it's vastly entertaining.

    Buttler b Shoriful 20 (Eng 296-3)

    Dragged on!

Short but sweet from Jos Buttler. It's a very wide delivery from Shoriful Islam and in trying to hammer it to the boundary, the England skips gets a thick edge onto his off stump.

Slight relief for Bangladesh but here comes Harry Brook...

  19. Eng 294-2published at 39.1 overs

    Four more!

Too wide from Shoriful Islam and Jos Buttler crashes the ball over extra cover. This is relentless stuff from England.

  20. Eng 290-2published at 39 overs

It's not just Jos Buttler going for it, Joe Root is in all-out attack mode as well.

He's still in full control, though, advancing before pumping Mustafizur Rahman over mid-on for four.
