  1. Ban 26-3published at 6 overs

    Target 365

A wicket-maiden for Topley, ending his third over with figures of 3-5 so far.

Bangladesh have found all sorts of problems facing Topley, barring Liton Das, who has scored 22 of their 26 runs so far.

That's a fantastic delivery from Topley. Left-arm angle pushing it in to Shakib, he played as if it's going to hit middle and leg but with that movement, it hits the very top of off.

Topley really was happy with that one, it was an absolute jaffa.

That is a big wicket. Shakib played all round that and loses his off stump.

Bangladesh are really in the mire. Reece Topley has taken three big wickets.

    Shakib b Topley 1 (Ban 26-3)

    Bowled! That is a beauty!

Reece Topley is a man on fire right now. He has his third wicket and it is the Bangladesh captain Shakib, Topley's delivery too good for him, with Shakib playing that one everywhere but where the ball was.

Bangladesh three down early on here.

  5. Ban 26-2published at 5 overs

    Target 365

Woakes ends with two dot balls, two tidier overs from him after an expensive start to the day.

Topley will return at the other end. Two wickets in his first over and a review in his second. What will the third bring?

Woakes is asking for trouble there. Full and too wide and eased through the covers for four.

Very well put away by Liton Das.

  7. Ban 26-2published at 4.4 overs

    Target 365

Three dot balls start the over, but Woakes' attempts to tease Das with a slower ball backfire, and the Bangladesh opener cracks a delivery for four.

We're only a few overs in, but already, Das looks very settled.

  8. Ban 22-2published at 4 overs

    Target 365

Having conceded a boundary with his first ball of the over, Topley keeps it tidy, conceding just one run from the remaining five deliveries.

England will be pleased with the early pressure they have been able to put onto their opponents.

  9. Not outpublished at 3.5 overs

As Steven Finn said, it pitched outside leg. A wasted review for England, who have just one left now.

That would have been a massive wicket, if that review was successful.

It looks a bit leg side and all the players are dispersing now. They've seen one replay and that's enough.

    It pitched outside leg.

  11. Umpire reviewpublished at 3.5 overs

England review. Topley's delivery hits Das' pad, although it looks like there may be some bat involved.

The umpire is not interested, but England take it upstairs.

  12. Ban 21-2published at 3.1 overs

    Target 365

Not a pleasing start to Topley's second over as Das clips the ball fine to find the boundary.

He already has for fours to his name.

The ball dribbles back and almost onto the stumps. When things are going your way, that hits but it's all a bit of hard work for Woakes at the moment.

  14. Ban 17-2published at 3 overs

    Target 365

Better from Woakes, with just three runs coming from that over.

The final ball of the over almost dribbled onto the stumps after Shakib fails to get it away, a nervy moment for him.

Liton Das' time in the middle seems important after those two early wickets. He hit three fours in as many balls in the first over.

Dan: Chris Woakes cementing his reputation as the nicest man in cricket by giving Bangladesh a chance to win this game.

A bit harsh, Dan. We've all bowled the odd expensive over in our time...

  17. Ban 14-2published at 2 overs

    Target 365

No hat-trick for Topley, who found Shakib's pad, but it was quite a way down the leg side.

What a start from Topley, just two runs conceded and two wickets in as many balls for him and England.

Chris Woakes will be hoping to build on Topley's start after an expensive first over from him.

That was a smart catch from Liam Livingstone, the ball would have raced to the boundary if it had beaten him.

Perfect start for England. It's not just about beating teams like Bangladesh, Afghanistan and the Netherlands, they have to beat it well because of the net run-rate.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 1.5 overs

Hossain Shanto c Livingstone b Topley (Ban 14-2)

    Two in two!

Topley is on a hat-trick as Livingstone takes a sharp catch at point.

A wider delivery from Topley, Hossain Shanto does not get enough of it and it is an excellent start for England.
