50 for Liton Daspublished at 11 overs

    Ban 65-4

Liton Das has stood up well for Bangladesh and is perhaps their only realistic hope. He has 50 of the 65 runs they have scored. A half-century from 38 balls with seven fours and a six.

England have just been so powerful. I go back to the toss and Bangladesh's decision to bowl first has allowed England to get into this position.

I think they'd have been better off batting first.

Thanks, Jonty. Reece Topley has bowled well, hasn't he? Shades of Mitchell Starc.

Hooked clean for six! That came out of nowhere from the diminutive figure of Liton Das.

  5. 6 runs

    Ban 57-4published at 10 overs

    Target 365

A brilliant stroke from Das, who pulls it brilliantly all the way for six to end this powerplay.

That is it from me, I shall hand you over to Stephan Shemilt to take you through the next phase.

Here is a look at Topley's third wicket of the day. He really has been excellent for England.

  7. Ban 49-4published at 9 overs

    Target 365

Chris Woakes with an excellent over. A wicket and just three runs conceded from him after a start that he will have wanted to be tidier.

Again, it is Topley from the other end to conclude this powerplay.

The perfect seam position and length from Woakes then just a little bit of movement to take a feather of an edge.

Woakes gets in on the action!

A fuller delivery from Woakes, Mehidy's attempted drive feathers through to Buttler for a routine catch.

He has been expensive but he gets his rewards.

    Another busy five overs.

Patham Nissanka reached his half-century off 58 balls, before Kusal Mendis brought his up with a glorious flick into the mid-wicket boundary. It comes up off 40 balls.

Nissanka falls in the next over though as he cuts Shadab Khan to point. Did that bounce a little bit more than the opener expected? Possibly.

That has allowed Babar Azam to return to Haris Rauf, who concedes just three, but Shadab is taken for two fours off the next over.

Sri Lanka will be looking for more than 300 at this early stage.

No wicket from Topley this time, but it remains tidy. A couple of dots and just five runs come from the over.

Chris Woakes remains on, despite going at over eight an over so far.

Bangladesh take 15 runs from that over, with Woakes conceding two fours and two threes in it.

Reece Topley will hope for much tidier than that, having taken three wickets in as many overs so far.

Woakes is great in English conditions but his record abroad has never been great. Need to change if we want to progress further in this tournament.

A challenging over for Woakes so far, his fourth ball is hit for four by Das, clipping it just past mid-on.
