    Iftikhar b Kuldeep Yadav 4 (Pak 166-5)

Two wickets in the over for Kuldeep Yadav, who sprints away in celebration!

Iftikhar Ahmed had begun his innings with a boundary but four balls later he's on his way back to the pavilion.

The ball is given plenty of flight outside leg stump by left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep which encourages Iftikhar to play the sweep, but he ends up deflecting the ball on to to his stumps behind his legs.

Is the window of opportunity just opening for India? Pakistan had been looking so solid when Babar was there with Rizwan.

Three reds and that's it. Saud Shakeel's stay is a short one.

Even KL Rahul wasn't convinced but good on Rohit for going with his bowler. Kuldeep was very confident.

  4. wicket

Shakeel lbw b Kuldeep Yadav 6 (Pak 162-4)

One of those which looked out, and is out. The on-field decision is overturned by the third umpire after the ball-tracking technology

Kuldeep Yadav, from round the wicket, has got the ball to straighten marginally which has done for Saud Shakeel. The Pakistan batter has played down the wrong line.

Missing leg? KL Rahul was not convinced behind the stumps.

But that looks straight-ish. I think that's a very good shout.

    No bat involved.

  7. India reviewpublished at 32.2 overs

Kuldeep Yadav hits the front pad of Saud Shakeel, who is straightened up.

A stone-faced Marais Erasmus gives it not out on the field, but this looks close.

The nerves there again from Saud Shakeel running between the wickets and you can definitely understand that.

  9. Pak 162-3published at 32 overs

Always good to get a message from the landed gentry on the rock of Gibraltar, so thanks for getting in touch Lord Tickles.

Anyway, Mohammed Siraj offers a bit of width to the Saud Shakeel with the fourth ball after drinks. The Pakistan left-hander extravagantly drives it, but has to settle for a single after a bit of a mix-up with Mohammad Rizwan over whether there was a second.

What I love about Indian/Pakistani fans / is they celebrate anything remotely positive. Every small moment of skill. It’s infectious and great to be around.

Once again the responsibility is on Mohammad Rizwan's shoulders to take Pakistan up to a competitive total.

  12. drinks break

Drinks and a time to take stock.

Can Pakistan kick on to make 300 plus?

Or will India turn the screw and knock them over for much less?

  13. Pak 157-3published at 31 overs

Mohammad Rizwan is unable to beat the fielders inside the circle as left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav plugs away.

Just a single off the over.

That was a horror misjudgement that probably portrayed the nerves. He was barely even in the picture.

  15. Pak 156-3published at 30 overs

Saud Shakeel with a risky single and he is fortunate to escape being run out attempting to make his ground at the non-striker's end after a Mohammed Siraj fielded it off his own bowling.

    A lucky escape.

The India fans had just given Babar Azam a decent round of applause for his fifty. They are not quiet in celebrating his wicket, however.

It is a lazy shot. There's no footwork at all. Was there a lapse of concentration?

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 29.4 overs

    Babar b Siraj 50 (Pak 155-2)

The decibel levels go through the roof at the Narendra Modi Stadium as Mohammed Siraj strikes for India to remove Pakistan captain Babar Azam.

A bit of a soft dismissal as Babar attempts to guide the ball down to third but the ball keeps a little low and clatters into the stumps.

Maybe a lapse in concentration from Babar. He's muttering a few frustrated words to himself as he trudges off.

This is a platform for Pakistan. We often speaking about that in ODIs to allow the all-rounders and lower order to make hay, but they've got to do that.
