Clever from Mujeeb because Harry Brook is expecting the ball to come back into him.

Mujeeb has bowled a lot of googlies but this is a back-spinner, it should come back in but it just holds its line.

England supporters are leaving the ground, they think England have got no chance and I'm with them. Afghanistan have played brilliantly.

    Brook c Ikram b Mujeeb 66 (Eng 169-8)

That could be curtains for England.

Another tame dismissal as Harry Brook hangs his bat to one from Mujeeb Ur Rahman. A bit of a nothing shot. Was he caught in two minds attempting to work it to leg?

The ball turns away and Brook ends up feathering it into the gloves of wicketkeeper Ikram Alikhil,

    Mujeeb sprints away in celebration.

Three singles off the remainder of Naveen-ul-Haq's over.

So much for ‘attacking this World Cup’. Not a single player out playing a shot in anger. It’s all been very tame, it seems like a tired team coming to the end of its cycle.

If England get over the line from here, it will be one of the most remarkable chases.

It's so easy for Afghanistan now to just give Harry Brook the single.

Good way to start for Adil Rashid. A boundary immediately. Rashid is a very capable player. But there's capable and then there's the situation England find themselves in.

You can cut the atmosphere in Dehli with a knife now.

Adil Rashid is the new batter and he gets off the mark with a boundary.after Naveen-ul-Haq gives him a freebie on his legs which he confidently tucks away.

He needs to stick around alongside Harry Brook more than anything, though.

Harry Brook will have to play one of the great innings to get England over the line now.

Afghanistan are only three wickets away.

It cannons into the stumps and now the celebrations won't stop. There is no coming back from that.

    Woakes b Mujeeb 9 (Eng 160-7)

Not that he lives that much longer...as he cleaned up by Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

Chris Woakes plays down the wrong line to one which nipped back in from Mujeeb and clatters into the stumps.

Afghanistan coach Jonathan Trott, who played 68 ODIs for England, looks stonefaced.

    Is it going down?

Good timing from Chris Woakes and we know how fast this outfield is, the ball just races away.

Naveen-ul-Haq, who has been Afghanistan's most expensive bowler thus far but did bag the wicket of Jos Buttler, into the attack.

Chris Woakes leans into Naveen's third ball and caresses a drive through the covers for four, his first boundary of the innings.
