Open the drinks cabinet and pour yourself a stiff one.
You might need it for the next 19 overs.

Heart in mouth time there! That came from almost nowhere but Brook has swept it over deep backward square for six.

My view is blocked so at first I thought it was going to be caught - but there's no one there.
Rashid Khan has three overs left and Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi decides to keep his trump card up his sleeve.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman, who plundered a useful 28 off 16 balls earlier with the bat, is is brought into the attack.
Harry Brook goes down on one knee to the penultimate ball of Mujeeb's over and slog slices it to the boundary for six. A collective of holding of breath to see if there was fielder down there ready to pouch the catch, but thankfully not.
Thanks, Jonty.
Well, well, well... England find themselves in a bit of a pickle here.
A lot on the shoulders of Harry Brook.
Target 285
Two runs come from Nabi's latest over, the first being a wide off the opening delivery.
Not a good 10 overs from England, scoring just 28 runs and losing two wickets.
That's all from me, I shall pass you back to Timothy Abraham to take you through to this match's conclusion.

Profligate with the ball and now wasteful with the bat. An average Afghanistan side made this pitch look like a road a few hours ago. We are making it look like a minefield. We are flat track bullies. Change the conditions and we struggle.

Target 285
An over that does not trouble the scorers as Rashid Khan bowls a maiden, increasing the pressure on England.
The rate required is not too high, but it has significantly grown in the last few overs.

It's clear that England are not learning the lesson of recent tournaments. We have enough quality within this team to go far, but we are playing too passively and thinking too one-dimensionally when picking teams. We need a better blend of players. Seam bowling only works so much, especially on these type of pitches. I have faith in this England team, but so far I haven't really seen anything to justify that faith.

Have England forgotten how to put pressure back on the bowlers? Appreciate you have to judge risk and reward but their walking wickets at the moment.

It feels like England's hopes of a late fightback rest solely on Harry Brook. Here is a look at his best shots so far.

England have been tentative today with the bat. I don't think it's spun lots, perhaps the odd one has stayed low.
Target 285
Mohammad Nabi now sits on 2-14 halfway through his quota and while all the talk has been around Rashid Khan, it is Nabi who has caused the most problems.
England have just failed to mount any kind of start or partnership so far.
Phil Long

With that wicket, Mohammad Nabi becomes the highest wicket-taker for Afghanistan in World Cups. He's got 15.

Sam Curran was just pushing at the ball outside off stump and he goes off shaking his head.
He'll be someone who is feeling fragile in this team. We talk about who Ben Stokes can come in for, Curran hasn't had a great time of it.
This partnership between Brook and Woakes is probably England's last chance.

Edged and gone! Curran presses forward and the edge is snaffled at slip.
It is increasingly going to rest on Harry Brook if England are not going to fall to a surprise defeat.
Curran c Rahmat b Nabi 10 (Eng 138-6) Target 285
Another big wicket for Afghanistan!
Curran gets forward but the ball from Nabi finds the outside edge of the bat and is caught by Rahmat Shah.
England's chances of turning this around are close to being non-existent.
Target 285
You can see why it feels tense, not a lot of runs scored, but equally, Brook and Curran are hanging about so far.
It feels like a long time since we last saw an England boundary and they are 19 runs behind where Afghanistan were at this stage.

It's tense now. The crowd has fallen quiet.
Here are some of Harry Brook's best shots from his half-century.
