For me, on first viewing, Liam Livingstone is in a lot of trouble.
Liam Livingstone is hit on the pads by Rashid Khan. The umpire gives it, but Livingstone takes it upstairs. It looked pretty plumb on first viewing.

The way England have played in the past five years is when they face a fork in the road it's been about going down the positive route, but these situations really challenge that.
Here is how England's captain fell prior to reaching double figures with the bat.
Thanks, Sam.
England's scoring rate has not been a concern, but the fact they are four down with only 20 overs gone is far from ideal.
This is a big opportunity for both Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone here to prove their ability to be able to rebuild and get England back into this game and in turn, prevent a big World Cup upset.
Target 285
Seven from the over it total, England are now fractionally ahead of the required rate but this partnership is absolutely key.
To see if Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone can keep it going, I'll hand you over to Jonty Colman.

Harry Brook, dare I say it, is looking quite comfortable.
Target 285
Harry Brook is playing on a different surface to the other England batters. He just guides the ball from Amzatullah Omarzai through backward point and away for another boundary.

A few England fans in the crowd are shaking their heads in despair. You have to be a die-hard supporter to be here and you don't want a major blow to their chances of reaching the semi-finals happening here.

The problem is a lot of balls are staying low and skidding on to the stumps. Afghanistan have just kept finding that length. This is not going to be easy for England.
Target 285
Three singles to end Rashid Khan's over. England are almost bang on the required rate but with four wickets down already, this game is right in the balance.

The crowd are revved up, the stadium announcer is revved up and England's players in the dressing room are on the edge of their seats.
In ODI cricket prior to this World Cup, Liam Livingstone averaged 28.9 against pace, but 147 against spin. He will be hoping to see a lot of spin early in his innings.

We saw Virat Kohli and Babar Azam yesterday and this shot was right up there in terms of the technical side from Harry Brook.
Jos Buttler's balance was nowhere near this. He plants that front foot, and it's a nice balanced shot with a high elbow. Glorious.
Target 285
Top class from Harry Brook. A cover drive right out of the top drawer.
Timed to perfection, all the way along the deck for four to bring up the 100 for England.
Four more! Short from Naveen-ul-Haq and Brook nails it away on the pull.

Nice as a batter to get a free hit second ball and Liam Livingstone is a nice striker of a cricket ball. England have to use their brains, bat a bit of time and take the game deep.
Target 285
Useful for England and Liam Livingstone. Naveen-ul-Haq oversteps to give him a free hit second ball.
It's a low full toss and Livingstone gets enough on it to clear extra cover and find the boundary.

You look at Jos Buttler's front foot and he's stumbling over it. He got stuck. It's been an incredible performance by Afghanistan and England are right up against it now.

Jos Buttler was driving all around that ball and England are now in big trouble. There is an enormous gap between bat and pad. Are Afghanistan about to pull off a World Cup shock?
