Quinton de Kock has announced his retirement from ODI cricket after the World Cup and he seems intent to go out with a bang.
That was a poor delivery onto the pads.
First runs for South Africa as Quinton de Kock works Logan van Beek's first two balls for successive twos into the leg side.
De Kock then takes the four of the innings, clipping a ball on the pads through square.
The opener has scored hundreds in both of South Africa's matches in this tournament, and will fancy making it three from three.
A strong start from the Netherlands as Aryan Dutt delivers a maiden first up.
His last ball skews off Bavuma's inside edge and skids away to a short fine leg. No real sign of intent from the South African captain, who barely moved the ball off the square.
Thanks Ffion - quite an interesting little chase we've got on our hands here.
The Netherlands open with Aryan Dutt's off-breaks. Temba Bavuma fends the first delivery away.
A quick reminder that South Africa only have 43 overs to reach their target, because of the rain that fell earlier.
Here come Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma to begin their chase of 246, and here comes Mike Peter to guide you through the start of it.
South Africa are still favourites, because of their experience and the fact that so many of their batters have been in stellar form.
Quinton de Kock already has two centuries to his name in the World Cup so far, Heinrich Klaasen is one of the world's form players, and Rassie van der Dussen is their Mr Reliable.
But a couple of quick wickets for the Netherlands, who have got their tails up after that batting effort, could send a few nerves into the Proteas dugout.

As a SA fan it is at least comforting that they are dampening, early on, the excitement that they may win this tournament. Absolutely abject bowling performance. No plan, no rhythm and even less skill in execution.

Number 10 Aryan Dutt smacked three sixes in his 23 as South Africa's bowlers bizarrely had no idea what to do.
It was the Netherlands whose unlikely victory over the Proteas last year knocked them out of the T20 World Cup. We're not quite into knockout territory here yet, but this would still be a huge upset if the Dutch bowlers can back up their batters.
Captain Scott Edwards came in at number seven, having watched the top order fall in a flurry.
But he played beautifully, leading from the front and capitalised on some very sloppy South African bowling and fielding.
His innings, plus the entertainment from the lower order, means it is the Netherlands who take the momentum into the second innings.
South Africa started so well and would have been hoping to bundle the Netherlands out relatively quickly.
Early wickets saw the Dutch slip to 40-3 and 82-5, and Kagiso Rabada in particular was sublime.
A total of 245 seemed completely unlikely.
Netherlands all-rounder Roelof van der Merwe: "We would've liked a better start but we had to work with what we had and got a few at the end. It is a good wicket but it is a bit two paced, there is a bit of up and down. We've got something on the board so you never know.
"We know it is a decent wicket so we would have wished for a bit more, but we will take it. We will have to execute pretty well and put them under pressure in the field."
The last two wickets added 106 runs for the Netherlands in just over nine overs.
Scott Edwards finished unbeaten with 78 from 69 balls, while Roelof van der Merwe and Aryan Dutt added valuable contributions of 29 (19) and 23 (9) respectively.
In the face of their counter-attack, South Africa completely lost the plot.

That's the last ten overs in microcosm. Some sloppy fielding from the South Africans, some clever thinking from the Dutch. To a man, the South Africans are looking furious, they're walking off with their hands on their hips, they can't believe what has happened.
Well, there's no other way of saying it - that was absolutely dreadful from South Africa during the last 10 overs.
The last ball sums it up. Scott Edwards is hit on the pad, they scamper a single, and because the bowler is too busy appealing for the lbw, it allows them to run a second.
A magnificent performance from the Dutch middle to lower order, having recovered from losing five quick wickets.
After all the chaos, South Africa need 246 to win from 43 overs.

Why are you bowling pace off when going for the stumps? There's only going to be one winner and it's going to be the batter. I may be old fashioned here, but when in doubt bowl a yorker - we haven't seen one blockhole delivery.
My word!
Aryan Dutt, in at number 10, launches Gerald Coetzee over square leg for six!
Ned 236-8
As you were.
Edwards attempted a ramp, missed it, but the sound was ball hitting pad rather than glove.
They run a single. What can Aryan Dutt manage?
Has Edwards been caught behind?
None of the South Africa players seem particularly excited by this one, but in the final over, they might as well review it.
It'll be Gerald Coetzee to bowl the last over... and his second ball is slog swept for four by Scott Edwards!
The carnage continues. Edwards has 78 from 67 balls.
