It wouldn't surprise me if The Netherlands take a couple of quick wickets. This game is unpredictable.

What a shot! When Dutt came through the Netherlands under-19 system he was a number three or four batter.

    Six more!

This is incredible from the Netherlands. They were 82-5!

But South Africa are all over the place.

  4. dropped catch

    Ned 220-8

    It's all happening.

Aryan Dutt tries for another six, but can't get any timing.

Lungi Ngidi swirls underneath it, gets a bit lost, and ends up misjudging it terribly before eventually putting it down.

Rabada is not a happy man.

  5. 6 runs

    Ned 218-8published at 40.5 overs

Aryan Dutt launches Rabada straight down the ground and into the stands!

  6. Ned 210-8published at 40.2 overs

    Sloppy.

What should be a simple single is turned into two, because a loose throw completely passes by Quinton de Kock behind the stumps.

A brilliant knock from the captain so far.

  8. Ned 208-8published at 40.1 overs

    Oh dear.

Kagiso Rabada bowled beautifully early on but has struggled since. A full delivery on the leg side is easily clipped for four by Edwards.

  9. Ned 204-8published at 40 overs

Aryan Dutt survives his first ball.

Three overs to go in this rain-reduced innings.

Fantastic contribution. It's changed the course of the innings, spluttering to around about 200, they should get close to 240 now.

Van der Merwe c De Kock b Ngidi 29 (Ned 204-8)

And the chaos comes to an end! Lungi Ngidi fights back well.

Roelof van der Merwe departs for a fabulously entertaining 29 from just 19 balls as he edges a slower ball behind to Quinton de Kock.

Van der Merwe's intent has truly changed the momentum of the game.

  12. Ned 203-7published at 39.3 overs

A chaotic start to the over from Lungi Ngidi.

A couple of singles to start, before a wide.

Edwards drills the next down the ground for four, and it's bad to worse for Ngidi as replays show he has overstepped.

Another wide means he has to bowl the free hit again, and the eventual free hit is spectacularly caught on the boundary.

    Still three balls to go!

Again! Edwards drills another slower ball through the covers in identical fashion.

The South Africa body language isn't great right now.

No dive from the fielder! In club cricket they'd say you need to get your kit dirty.

    Ned 187-7

A top innings from the skipper, reaching his half-century in fine style as he bludgeons Kagiso Rabada through the covers for four more.

You could argue that the cover fielder could have put in a better effort, and South Africa, previously so impressive, are under pressure.

They are not handling it well.

South Africa have been slightly rattled by two players who've played slightly differently. Gerald Coetzee's plans have been poor, there's been missfields. It's interesting to see how the bowlers have reacted to two Netherlands tailenders.

  17. Ned 181-7published at 38 overs

This partnership is really starting to frustrate South Africa now.

Scott Edwards times a reverse sweep perfectly for four, having earlier thrashed one down the ground for two.

The stand is worth 41 from just 25 balls. Brilliant resilience from the Dutch pair.

Van der Merwe dropped on 21published at 37 overs

    Ned 173-7

    Tough one!

Roelof van der Merwe drills one straight back to Gerald Coetzee in his follow-through but the ball just doesn't stick in the hands.

Adding insult to injury, Van der Merwe gets four more from the final ball of the over with a bizarre switch-hit that he adjusts last minute into a cut down to deep third.
