Ibrahim Zadran doesn't think he got a touch, but the umpire was quick to stick his finger up.
Hassan Ali thinks Ibrahim Zadran has gloved a pull shot behind to the wicketkeeper and the umpire agrees, but Zadran thinks differently and instantly reviews.

Afghanistan have started really well in the first couple of overs, but what I really like is in his last couple of overs, Shaheen Shah Afridi has held his length back. A good start for Pakistan.
The sweat is glistening off Shaheen Afridi's forehead as he runs in to bowl his third over. It is still hot and steamy in Chennai even with the sun long since set.
Just the two singles come off the over, Pakistan's most economical of the innings so far.

I do think Afghanistan's middle order is more settled now than it was. If they can get a good start, the middle order is more consistent.
Target 283
Ibrahim Zadran plays an uppish clip through mid-wicket that brings three runs as Afghanistan continue to show positive intent in this powerplay.
Ibrahim has raced to 19 runs from 16 balls.

The last couple of games, we have seen some runs being stolen from some Pakistan mishaps.
What's going on here? Two overthrows from Pakistan allow Afghanistan to turn a single into three runs. That was very sloppy from the fielding side.
Shaheen Afridi does not look happy as he shakes his head at the end of the over.

That was technically so sound. You hit down on to the ball and it doesn't get any air on the ball or get near the fielder.
That's another brilliant shot from Ibrahim Zadran as he leaps onto a wide delivery from Hassan Ali and clatters the ball through point for four.
The next shot is even better.
This is all about technique and timing over power as Zadran rocks onto his back foot, opens the face and guides the ball backward of point to the rope.

There was a real air of arrogance with that shot from Ibrahim Zadran, I love that.
Target 283
Afghanistan do get a good start as Rahmanullah Gurbaz clips the first ball of the innings off his pads and away for four.
Ibrahim Zadran then joins the party with a brilliantly executed cover drive that flies to the rope.
Afghanistan will be pleased with that.

Afghanistan need a good start, that's how they get the momentum. It's going to be really difficult to get any momentum in the middle overs with the bat in hand.
Afghanistan openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran join the Pakistan players in the middle.
Gurbaz will face the first ball from Shaheen Afridi, who is given a huge ovation when his name is read out over the stadium speakers.
The Pakistan players gather in a huddle before taking to the field. The momentum is very much with them after that explosive end to their innings.
A few early wickets here and Afghanistan will be right up against it.
Iftikhar eventually departed in the 49th over after smashing 40 off 27 balls. He was ably supported by Shadab Khan, who also hit 40 from 38 deliveries.
It all changed when Iftikhar Ahmed arrived at the crease in the 42nd over. He carted the Afghanistan bowlers all around the ground to power Pakistan up to an imposing score.
Noor Ahmad was the pick of the Afghanistan bowlers, taking a career-best 3-39 as Pakistan struggled for momentum in the middle overs.
Imam-ul-Haq was the first wicket to fall for 17.
Abdullah Shafique was the next to go, but not after an enterprising 58 from 75 balls.
