There has been very little to trouble Afghanistan's openers so far.

There has been very little to trouble Afghanistan's openers so far.
Change of bowler, same result.
A simple misfield from Babar allows the batters to steal a single, before Usama Mir drops short and Ibrahim Zadran makes no mistake in crunching it away for four.
The worms are close after 10 overs, with Afghanistan 60-0 and Pakistan 56-0.
Afghanistan will want to get ahead of the sharp rise at the end of the Pakistan innings though.
Cheers, Tom.
There was so much talk around Pakistan's fearsome fast bowlers before this World Cup but they've been surprisingly ineffective so far.
A very positive start from Afghanistan's openers. Their challenge will be to maintain it, as Babar Azam turns to spin for the first time with Usama Mir.
Haris Rauf, smacked for 17 in his first over, bounces back well with a maiden.
It is still a fine powerplay for Afghanistan as they needed to set a platform and they have done just that.
It is time for me to take a break. I will leave you in the capable hands of Ffion Wynne.
Gurbaz 28, Ibrahim 32
Ibrahim Zadran clearly doesn't want Rahmanullah Gurbaz to hog all the glory. He has just played a delightful cover drive that disappears to the rope for another four.
There are plenty of worried expressions on the faces of the Pakistan fielders right now.

Haris Rauf was expensive in his last game and he's been equally as extravagant today too.

This is beautiful to watch, he knows there is a shorter gap to aim for and Gurbaz has hit that so well and got on top of the bounce and that has been the theme for this innings.

You can put as many as you like in the ring says Gurbaz, I'll still find the gap.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz does it again. A third four of the over and once again in that point region, picking the gap perfectly.
The next ball goes to the rope too! This one is a touch fortunate as an inside edge beats the wicketkeeper and goes to the rope.
17 off the over in total. Haris Rauf looks distraught.
Mickey Arthur looks like he is about to spontaneously combust.

That is a great use of the pace and it has just raced away to the boundary.

That is beautifully placed, a back cut so sweetly placed from Gurbaz.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz is so strong through that backward point/third man region as he plays a lovely, delicate late cut that fizzes to the boundary.
He repeats the trick next ball! It is squarer this time but still brilliantly placed as it pierces the gap in the field and reaches the rope.
This is turning into a fine start for Afghanistan.
First change of bowling as Haris Rauf enters the fray.
We have seen some brilliant hitting from these Afghanistan openers so far.

Gurbaz gets another boundary, but he's been a bit subdued so far. He has still played well though, it's just Zadran has been better.
That's another good shot from Rahmanullah Gurbaz as he chops the ball down through the off side and it just beats the diving fielder at third man.
It wasn't the worst ball in the world from Shaheen Afridi, just a well-executed shot.

That should've been stopped by Imam-ul-Haq but Zadran uses the bounce off the practice pitch well.
Ibrahim Zadran pours salt into Pakistan wounds with a backfoot punch off the next ball that squirms past the cover fielder and reaches the rope.
Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur looks absolutely furious with some of his side's fielding so far.

A good use of the technology. He knew he didn't hit it and used the review well.
