The players took drinks after that over.
Did Babar Azam find the words of wisdom to claw Pakistan back into this?

Real class. A reverse sweep, Rahmat does everything with so much ease and grace.
He's batted really well.
Target 283
Quite often when I watch some international sides I bemoan their lack of intent with their running, but that hasn't been the case today.
A ramp brings two, before a drop-and-run single into the covers.
Rahmat Shah then finds that valuable boundary with a perfectly timed, and placed, reverse sweep.
Exactly 100 needed for Afghanistan to complete their record ODI chase.
Thanks Ffion.
A reminder at this point about a couple of things.
There's no such thing as a tie in this World Cup. If this game finishes with the scores level we'll play a super over, and we'll keep playing them until we have a winner.
Afghanistan are seeking just their third 50-over World Cup win too after successes over Scotland in 2015 and England in 2023.
Target 283
Well, Ibrahim Zadran inches closer to reaching that milestone - he now has 82 to his name.
Hassan Ali concedes just four from his latest over but it's all looking rather straightforward for the batting side.
We're heading towards a great finish, and here's Callum Matthews to take you through it.

Afghanistan have never had a World Cup centurion in their history.
Target 283
This has been Pakistan's problem all innings.
They build pressure with a few good balls, but immediately squander it.
Back-to-back boundaries for Rahmat Shah completely eases any Afghanistan nerves and Pakistan concede the momentum once again.
Target 283
A captivating passage of play here as Haris Rauf bowls another economical over, and Afghanistan are just stalling a little in terms of the run rate.
Something's going to give soon.

At this same stage, Pakistan were 128-3 and Afghanistan are 158-1.
Target 283
Another good over for Pakistan as Usama Mir beats the bat on a couple of occasions.
This World Cup has been crying out for a properly tight finish. It could easily come today.
Target 283
Much better. Just four singles from it.
The boundaries have dried up since Gurbaz got out but Ibrahim and Rahmat Shah have made sure to rotate the strike well and ensure the pressure doesn't build too much.
It's still very much in Afghanistan's control. They have never beaten Pakistan in an ODI.
Big moment.
Haris Rauf's first spell was pretty woeful. Babar Azam brings him back for a second.
Target 283
Halfway there.
Afghanistan are in a very decent position.
Other players often talk about Muhammad Rizwan as being one of cricket's nicest guys and he helps Ibrahim Zadran stretch out some cramp at the end of the over.
That's sweet.
Target 283
Good from Afghanistan.
Ibrahim and Rahmat are happy to tick ones and twos off Shaheen Afridi's next over to withstand his threat.
Babar Azam turned to his big player to get the breakthrough, and he delivered.

That boundary is the last thing that Pakistan would have wanted. It was a half-tracker and practically a 'hit me' ball. That is not what you need when you are trying to seize the initiative in the game.
Target 283
Short, wide and crashed for four by Ibrahim, who keeps up his positive intent despite the departure of Gurbaz.

This is the crux of the match. This is where things will tip one way or the other.

Usama Mir would have been under so much pressure when that went up in the air. He's composed himself and then taken a good low catch. The laugh was one of relief.
It was a good innings but Afghanistan would have wanted him to go on because he was the one that can up the ante.
Target 283
Usama Mir dropped David Warner early in their outing against Australia, before the opener went on to make a ton, so he has held his nerve well there.
Captain Babar Azam drew his team in for a huddle straight after that wicket as he probably urges them to start again, forget the opening stand and burst through a vulnerable middle order now.
Rahmat Shah joins Ibhahim Zadran, who is well-placed on 63.
